Hotel Universal

The hotel is just 5 mins walk to The church. The room is clean. On the bathtub, need more enclosure so the water won¿t spray out the tub. When I was done taking a shower, the whole floor is full of water. But everything is great. Will stay there again

Just the covering on the buthtub not enough glass, so it won¿t spray outside the tub.

Excellent location, good room size, friendly staff.

The location is fantastic, right in the centre of everything. Bus stop and 24 hour taxi rank (great for the early flights) outside the door. The room was immaculate and quite large. Staff answered any query with a smile.

Breakfast was not the best, but not the worst either. The only hot choice was scrambled egg or little sausages and it was the same every morning. The bread (just 2 options and both were white) was always fresh. An extra socket or 2 in the room would be beneficial

I booked the room because I thought they have a bathtub according to the pictures. They said that they changed them all to showers which is ok, but you should take down the pictures as well.

I like that breakfast was available at the property. It was close to Zara’s and to the Taxi stand.

I found 2 packets of 12 grapes in my room to celebrate NYE. Touches like this go a long way. Thank you. I also loved the heating. I was very comfortable. The bath was lovely too.

Very small elevator, but that wasn't an issue for us, but could be for others.

Really well located hotel. The bus from the airport literally stops by the hotel door. It was super clean, bed was very comfortable and staff were the friendliest (we bumped into the receptionist outside of her working hours and she recommended us some local spots to visit). Totally recommend.

The property is professional and knows how to look after guests. They will cater after hours check in.

It is close to the Cathedral itself and they serve good breakfast.

Narrow hallways. The old man at the reception is not welcoming. Never looked us in the eye. Cold and indifferent. We did not feel welcome and they did not help us up the stairs seeing two old people having difficulties with bag and stairs.

Great location with an easy walk to both the historical centre and transport depots. Great value breakfast.

Great location and reasonably priced. Breakfast buffet was good value.

Room served its purpose adequately. Hotel was well situated (re Cathedral and environs). Welcome was warm. Breakfast was satisfactory.

I lost my 'credential' from the Camino. When I rang from France making enquiries after it, the person answering the phone seemed somewhat indifferent to my plight. Could have been more helpful.

The hotel is in a good location.

Unfortunately the room was full of mosquitoes, the staff on reception were unfriendly and the bed linens had stains on. Not a comfortable night sleep.
