Hotel Altair

Hotel is small and cozy, super well located (I arrived by car and it was easy to park and walk everywhere), breakfast is really good, room is comfortable and the staff (specially Alba) super nice. Recommend it!

Great location, comfortable rooms!! We stayed after completing our Camino to spend an extra day exploring Santiago, this hotel is right in the heart of everything, clean, great hospitality and a wonderful breakfast!

This place is truly special. Cozy, elegantly decorated, lovely staff; five minute walk from the cathedral. I’ll stay here every time I’m in Santiago.

The hotel is modern and well designed. The staff is super friendly and helpful. A great end to the Camino and a superb place to ground yourself in a truly unique city.

It was very clean and tastefully decorated, I loved the courtyard sitting area out side our room and the breakfast was excellent!

The staff was absolutely outstanding!!!! So kind and helpful and pleasant. The breakfast was also incredibly delicious. I will absolutely stay here again when I return to Santiago.

We were really surprised when we arrived at the property. Truthfully my wife and I had chosen another location but they didn’t have availability for the dates we chose. Then we found Hotel Altaïr and gave it a shot. When we walked through the doors we were really impressed. The decor and the layout is really chic, elegant and with excellent taste in design. The staff amazing helpful, attentive and caring. We couldn’t ask for more…….the room was on ground floor with a little inside terrace very nice. Breakfast was great every morning. They had a nice selection of the top liquor brands . Hotel Altaïr is just an 8 minute walk to the Santiago de Compostela Cathedral very well located. Give it a try I am sure you will not regret staying and this little gem which has its history dating back to the 19th century. Like sleeping in a modern stone wall castle……

Noise can be heard from adjoining and overhead rooms.

Staff is super helpful and they are always there for you. The area is cute and quiet so you can rest easy. If you have a room with a bathtub, that's a great option

That there's no food service in the hotel

Teresa was exceptional during breakfast time. She was friendly and efficient and even gave us tips on the sites.

This location does not have parking. I had to pay for parking at a nearby parking lot. But I did not mind this too much because the location was great and the hotel and staff were awesome!!!

Everything. Cozy, beautiful clean and modern

Beautiful hotel, comfy room with the best blackout screens. Nice bed and bathroom. Hotel was pretty with great design features. Staff were all kind and friendly. Close enough to walk anywhere
