Hotel Montenegro Compostela

Everything was to our liking the Hotel Employee was excellent at the front desk

That we had to leave at the end of our vacation.

The room was bright, well decorated, spacious, and comfortable. It had a comfy bed, large bathroom, as well as french doors leading to large window which allowed for fresh air and listening to the sounds of the city if desired. The location was very close to the cathedral and several fine restaurants nearby.

The breakfast does not open until late and the walls are thin. However, thin walls are to be expected in older buildings such as you'll find in the area.

It was in a great location for walking around the city and exploring all the shops and sights

Nothing really. It’s not a big room but I knew that when I booked and it was only for a night.

Aircon did not work. No staff on duty.

I discovered Hotel Montenegro nine years ago and this is my fourth time staying there. It has a great location, great rooms, and is very comfortable and convenient.

The room was very modern with comfortable beds and a very nice shower. The location was good, just a couple blocks off the main square. It was more quiet than the main square but there was a nearby restaurant with outdoor seating that led to some noise later at nite. The entry level floor has a couple nice lounging areas that made it easy for me to do some meetings for work on line without keeping my husband awake.

We did not arrive late but there was noone there on our arrival and though the sent us door codes which easily let us into the building, it was a little tricky to figure out how to get the room key out of a coded box, easy once you know how to do it. so maybe this was me. In any case a staff member did arrive while I was trying to figure this out which was very helpful.

The bed was pretty hard and small - the bathroom shower floor was peeling off quite a bit, increasing as I showered

The location was excellent and the room was very comfortable after a long journey on the Camino Frances.

Everything was fantastic, the only comment I have is there is a sign in the room saying ask at front desk for blow dryer, an unnecessary trip down and I was advised it is in the room. Searched the room and found it in the closet.

There was an issue with the bathroom, a smell. To be fair we only flagged it at the end of our visit as we were out all day

Very nice historical property with beautiful ambience. Close to the cathedral and a short walk to restaurants. Very clean and we loved the heated towel rack in the bathroom. The host contacted us to advise when the room was ready before the official check in time. Our bags were transported that day but were late and the host had them sent up directly to our room which was greatly appreciated.

It was pretty nice.

Great location just off the main path which kept it quiet at night.

We slept in a bedroom to the front of the hotel and the noise from people leaving the bar across the street continued until 4am. This was a Friday night

Great location, attentive staff, very clean well maintained amenities.

No refrigerator/minibar for multi day stay.

Hotel is in an excellent location. Staff were extremely helpful and friendly. It was a great bonus to be able to leave our luggage in the hotel as we had a very late flight the day we checked out.Room was spotless and very comfortable. I would definitely book this hotel again.

Great location! Steps to cathedral and all the restaurants, market and shops.

The room was clean and has a wonderful shower. The location is great, easy to walk to restuarants etc
