For November, the heating in our room was insufficient.

Cannot say enough good about this place. Room in main building a bit small, but well laid out, had a park view. Have previously stayed in the Park rooms, feels like you are in the forest, just lovely. Breakfast is amazingly good, so many different things to choose from.The beach and the harbor is right across the street. Harbor has a lot of good restaurants, from fancy to a burger. Btw, had the burger at the smallish place, highly recommend. Just a lovely place to stay, third time there, definitely coming back.

The location was beautiful. Games room and other rooms were homey.

Gym was small. Cleaning could have been more thorough.

The location is truly marvelous, across from the sea and small harbor, and surrounded by an extensive park with very old trees. The room was as described and photographed, comfortable, roomy and well appointed. The breakfast was ample and served in another section of the property.This turned out to be a problem only because we both were so ill when we arrived, that getting a cup of tea took a major effort.

Because we both were so ill with a flu that we could barely stand, it would have been helpful if there had been some form of room service. I want to point out that this is not a shortcoming of the facility, which does not offer that level of experience, and under other circumstances would have been fine.

The breakfast buffet is excellent. Our room was in the 'Park' section, which we highly recommend as our room was larger, had a balcony, and looks out on a beautiful landscape. The hotel's closeness to the harbor (a 5-minute walk) with all its restaurants etc is a real plus. We stayed at the hotel as we were seeing close friends in the area, and because we had visited it in the past. Access to Copenhagen is easy via train or car.

Excellent location. The hotel has lots of character and feels very comfortable. Restaurant and bar were also very good.

My room was a little dated.

Very nice place to stay for a few days and rest. Also, a great conference center with splendid restaurant and great conference rooms.

Unfortunately it's a bit of a hassle to catch a comfortable public transport to Copenhagen or even Horsholm from there.

Upper level quality and well located outside outside town with easy access to nature and culture

This is our third stay, and we keep coming back because of the location. However, the staff is always super nice and helpful. Breakfast buffet is big and there's always something nice to eat. There is always a noon to relax in outside of the room, billiard or table tennis, a bar room, sofas and chair all around, and the coffee stations wit water, coffee, tea, and fruit is a really nice touch. And you can rent bikes and borrow stand up paddle boards.

Egg quality at the breakfast buffet, the scrambled eggs were runny and the softboiled eggs were a bit too runny. The room is what it it is in terms of decoration and it could use a face-lift, but the view is nice and the bed is comfortable even though quite soft.

The Hotel is at a fantastic location, at the see side, next to a small harbor with some nice restaurants. Also the grounds and surroundings are very nice.

At the price paid I do expect a bed that "sleeps" well, not a worn out box-spring without proper matras with a big sink in the middle. Also I do expect modern hotels to have a wall socked next to the bed, to charge a phone.

Beautiful hotel, very kind and efficient staff, very good breakfast and excellent restaurant, very good position near the harbour and Karen Blixen museum, the sea just in front. Coffee, tea and water complimentary in nice areas of the hotel at any time.

Saturday night party was held in the main wing which could be heard across the courtyard, made it hard to get to sleep way past midnight

Beautiful setting. Room was very comfortable with a great view. Loved the breakfast. Would definitely recommend this hotel.
