    Pros +

    • It has a good view of the city. You have to walk quite a bit to get there, though, so be prepared to carry your bags up several steps.
    • As with many riads, you can't tell how beautiful and comfortable the place is from the outside. Excellent rooms, nice location, friendly staff, and a great breakfast.
    • Location is good, the staff seems friendly, breakfast was decent, and the bed was big and comfy.

    Cons -

    • They were a nightmare. For some reason, they thought it was a smart idea to cancel my room even though I had paid a non-refundable fee. Room had NO TOWELS AND NO TOILET PAPER. Horrendous.
    • There was noone in reception when I arrived, I had to wait around 30 min for someone to come by. The room was fine, bad reception of Wifi and cable TV, only half the lights worked and there was a weird red taint on the floor of the bathroom that ruined a pair of socks.
    • The room we got was smaller than I thought and the door to the bed room couldn't be closed without moving the bed around awkwardly. The pictures were a tiny bit misleading but if I paid more attention I would've picked a bigger roo.

As soon as my wife and I arrived we were given tea while they checked us in, our room was beautiful and accommodating for tall people as well. You can see the city from the rooftop beautifully. The breakfast was delicious and quick’ highly recommended for everyone.

    everything was perfect

    Comfortable and clean room

Riad is next to the mosque which means the calling was super loud and woke me up

The location is good, but getting there is difficult with luggage. Pack light!

The bed linens were not enough. There are a few stains on some. The furniture had holes. It was noisy but not the Riad, just the location being in the MedinaIt would be nice to have proper blankets. It was December when we visited and cold.

The location and breakfast was very good. Furthermore, the staff members were very humble and welcoming.

The bedrooms were small and it was quite hard to fit 4 people in the room. The room is designed for 2 or 3 people at max. Also, there was bad privacy as the door to the toilet was not closing and the curtains in the room were transparent.

The staff was fantastic. Lotfi was so interesting to talk to and had so much great info. I liked the location of the hotel. Wires got crossed somewhere when I booked and the reservation showed 2 instead of 4 guests, and the superior bungalow with 6 beds that I booked only had 4 beds - not sure why, but it’s all good! I’d try something else in Chefchaouen next time for the value.

The room was very small and claustrophobic feeling which may bother some people.

Antique and old riad very good value for money

There is no parking included and in mid night they were fixing something on the walls which was so bothering

I'm liking the location of the place it is easy access to the top and the lower part of town. The rooms are cozy and comfy and the staff are very accommodating. Language proficient enough.

The stairs are too steep,. I was not Ready for the winding climb up and down

It was a really good experience the staff was very nice special Thanks to Lotfi and the Housekeepers we appreciate the hospitality and the mooccan tradition breakfast.

The gentleman who ran Antek was so kind. He helped me get my luggage through the Medina and back out (in the VERY early morning) and allowed me to stay one more day after I was scheduled. The place was clean and not busy at all. The roof view was gorgeous

In the Medina, the running water cuts off sometimes. But this wasn’t a hostel specific problem. And it was totally worth it to stay in the Medina.

Dinner is delicious especially on the terrace.
