    Pros +

    • I'am glad I choose this hotel for its location close to parking. Chefchaouene is a small town and there are no vehicles allowed in the main part of town. Also the guest host kamal was really helpful with all our needs. Also the best tea I ever had was he
    • the location is really good, it in the heart of the town.
    • Excellent location, facilities, and attention from staff. The design of the Riad is very unique, and the rooms are all different. Staff upgraded us to the largest suite with rooftop balcony for one night, which was great and much appreciated. They even served us breakfast in our room on the roof in the morning. I recommend this Riad for a nice, quiet, and affordable option.

    Cons -

    • the room wasn't that big enough.
    • The rooms are a little smaller than they appear in photos, but that seems pretty standard.
    • Cheap.Very old riad with poor maintenance.Rooms are smelly, A/C broken.Staff not responsive.

The room was very small. Cleaning not good. Perfect location near the parking and inside the beautiful streets of Chefchaouen.

Well located. The women that clean there did a good job.

It has seen better days. I don’t feel any effort is put in to improve things. Compared to our riads in Rabat and Tangier, this one was a lot worse. The beds are very hard. The hardest we’ve had in 4 places in Morocco. Uncomfortably hard. At around 3pm both afternoons the young guy working the front desk would sit outside or at the desk with his cell phone music playing ridiculously loud. We were trying to rest in the afternoon and that was annoying. No way to take a nap. There are young men that staff the desk and only one seemed to care about anything. Also one of them smelled like marijuana. Sat outside on a chilly rooftop for 30 min one morning just trying to find one of these young guys for breakfast. Larger room we had had a sewer odor coming up through the sink or shower drain, which was gross. I wouldn’t stay here again. Compared to the other Rabat and Tangier riads where I would. But also Chefchoauen just felt like a run down dirty city where the folks in the old city just didn’t seem to care much. Maybe that’s the laid back hashish culture. Checking out is was 341 euro or $360 or so US dollars. It had to be paid there at checkout. Card reader was down. I had to spend over 10 min debating the bill as he wanted $440 in US dollars which was the wrong conversion, despite booking.com showing the price in both Euro and USD.

Location, friendly staff, the place decoration and facilities (great breaksfast with astonish views)

Wifi signal was very weak, no coffee or tea pot in the room.

Location in Medina. Authentic riad to feel yourself in old times (quite exotic in comparison with classic hotels).Room is equipped with all necessary things incl.bathroom, wifi, TV, frige. For family we had room with bed upstairs, enough space.

You will hear all sounds if any. Breakfast is satisfactory but you may feel a bit lack of cleaness (dishes, kettlery&glasses). Not easy to find. Parking is separate and for extra cost (riad doesn't have it due to location). Not enough light.

The staff was nice and friendly. Breakfast was really good.

Even though it is written on booking, there is no parking and also if it’s a busy day, there is no parking in the vicinity. We had to walk 15min in the heat uphill. The room wasn’t ready on arrival even though we came in the late afternoon.

Wonderful hospitality, great service, very welcoming and helpful staff, whatever we asked them they never said no. Room was very clean and cosy. Breakfast was amazing and tasty. Special thanks to Ibrahim who was very kind and super helpful. Will recommend it to my friends and family, and certainly will stay again if I came back to Chefchaouen

Just 2 recommendations, WIFI to be strengthened in the rooms, and if a mini bar can be added to the room. Other than this, was a perfect stay and worthy .

    Location and staff were great

Room was upstairs, a bit dangerous with our toddler. Room was very small upstairs with bed and ac didn't quite reach there.

Location is in the center. Staffs are nice. Rooftop has a great view.

We stayed in loft type room on the first floor. Toilet is just right above our beds which you cant even close the toilet door properly. This gives foul odor to the entire room. The room smells like toilet. There’s a lot of flies. The shower is not working. We asked the staff to fix it as we decided to stay extra night but it was not fixed.

    6SoukainaPosted on: 6-8-2024

Very close from the center and old medina, it's just a 5 min walk from there. The old style adopted in decoration was so amazing and it would please foreigners a lot!

The price was high for the quality of the room! I also didn't like that the first room they gave us was very small and it had no access to internet at all!! And the shower was not hot in it!! After we complained, they offered us a better room but we had to spend the first night in the previous one and it was not pleasant AT ALL!!!!!!!

Friendly staff, clean room, amazing breakfast, everything was fine. (:

    9ChristinePosted on: 5-29-2024

I’ve experienced better breakfasts on my Morocco trip but it was okay. Location to get everywhere walking was fabulous plus out of really busy areas but you need help with suitcases unless you’re travelling very lightly. The star were excellent helping with whatever you needed and the riad had a family, cosy feel to it with various communal sitting areas.

Being very ‘picky’; the only thing to hold items in the shower was broken.
