Don't get fooled like I was. If you don't make your reservation days ahead you are not going to get room when you get there. I have made reservation in this accomodation because they have check in until midnight, but when I get there reception was closed, and nobody was replying on phone. I was trying to get somebody for 2 hours, and at the end I had to book another accommodation. Of course they decided to keep money they charged in advance, 80% of full price, even if I didn't got the room. Just book another place and keep your nerves.

Nice rooms amd saune

Self check-in was confusing. We picked the wrong room type and had to pay extra.

Location is beautiful. Room was specious and with everything you need. Furniture excellent quality, full wood. All you need is in the room. Terrace was looking at the mountains. Very nice hiking area.

Restaurant at the property was closed in the evening when I arrived. Had to drive a bit to another restaurant.

Breakfast was very good

No person at reception at arrival, no information about facilities, breakfast etc. not even in a brochure in the room. Thin-walled rooms.

Everything, it was stunning. Check-in/out was easy. Great communicatiin with the staff. Facilities were great for all. Freat breakfast and what an amazing scenery!

The room was nice and cosy. The breakfast was very good, with various dishes. The hotel has a generous parking lot and it was great, since I was travelling by car. The neighborhood is very nice. The room had a large balcony with mountain-view, and we enjoyed the evening after a tiring day. There is a great breakfast with various dishes for all diets.

One of the strangest check-in experiences... Nobody at the front desk, we found our key in an envelope with several papers to fill in. There is a board with instruction next to the desk, yet some of them are written in German (a language I don't speak). I asked for help to some German fellow tourists but even they couldn't understand what was one of those papers for and how to fill it in. Moreover, there is no site map, to find the room. I literally wandered for 20 minutes to find the room. The place is great but this is a major setback from my point of view.

The area / surroundings are nice.

As frequent traveler, I can tell that this hotel is the worst I ever visited.- The bed is made of “cheap foam”, making the sleeping really bad.- What a welcome when you reach the hotel: there is no one to 'welcome' you. Just a simple letter and when you try to reach them over the phone, there is no answer. This is the same with email…no answer at all!- There are serious concerns about hygiene. For instance, they have a small gym, but no towel, no paper, no gel to clean the equipments before and/or after usage. This is not in line with the traditional German standards. - You just can see someone at check out, where you really have to take care about the amount they charge. They do not show you the amount and just ask you to put your card. Luckily, I took care because I had serious doubt about the unpleasant receptionist. She tried to charge hiddenly something else, arguing about a ‘lunch packet’, because I took an apple and piece of bread. This is a breakfast buffet, but they look to what you take!At the end, this is a stressful while expensive hotel, with a hostile receptionist.

Excellent breakfast, beautiful countryside in the foothold of the alps, free parking, everything was ready for self check-in in the evening

Fantastic location, good breakfast and cozy place. The hotel is oldfashioned, hence the older facilities. We would stay here again.

No one available to call after 12. so we had an emergency upon arrival and could not contact anyone. Super annoying. No fresh hot chocolate available. Only a water sugar mix from the machine. Breakfast buffet is average.

Really bad service

They care only for money, not customer satisfaction. We booked at 22.30, no one was waiting for us!! The lie on web site, there is none at the check in after 18.00!! We rang the bell we screamed to call someone and without answer we had to go elsewhere, at midnight!!!... and they charge us for the room!! Unfair and dishonest

It was our 2nd stay at this hotel as we love the area. It's a good hotel with spa facilities and plenty of parking. There was no reception staff when we checked in at 5pm but they did leave a friendly envelope with self-checkin instructions and a welcome message.

The bathroom sink and toilet are in separate areas, so you have to walk over to wash your hands. The pool can be a little cold and you could end up facing a camping or caravan park, depending on the room. However, you will still get a nice view of the hills. The lady working in the breakfast room looked a little miserable but the rest of the staff are very friendly.

Hotel and breakfast very fine. We are bikers and got caught by flooding roads on our way to ruhpolfing so we contacted the hotel asking kindly if possible to postpone our stay of one day as we did pay already over 600 euros already. But the girl on the phone she wasn't helpful at all and she said hotel day after was fully booked and plugged me off. We did check if this was correct but the rooms were still available and even 209 euro cheaper, so I called back and after an hour she picked up and after shouting at her for the bad attitude she said to send an email with the request that she would have answered asap. This never happened. So I had to contact the help desk of booking asking for the help and after few hours booking confirmed us the change . Immagine to be in flooding situation and all soaked ten people asking just for a help and get an unprofessional arrogant girl...never ever again to this place.

An arrogant and unprofessional girl at the reception who never dare to give me her name when I asked and clicked me out on the phone...that's bad. A professional management should investigate

breakfast is very good and authentic. Nice environment and staff.

The breakfast was a buffet with a good selection of food. The room was big with a terrace which was helpful.

The restaurant didn't open until 7pm, it's recommended to book a table in the local town as it is very busy. The hotel is located on a fairly busy road which is not pleasant for walking to/from town.Reception was only "manned" until 2pm but check-in was from 3pm which meant our key was left on reception with instructions for our stay, it would have been helpful to have been greeted by a member of staff.
