Hotel Bemon Playa

Great location and very reasonable price. Self check -in was no problem. Great to have the bar underneath. Santander foot ferry from Somo only a short walk away.

Slight noise from the bar till late at night though nothing too bad.

The location is perfect. It's easy to park and check in seamless. The size of room was great and the price very good.

The room was directly above the burger restaurant and bar below. It's all totally quiet by midnight but then from 7.30am we were woken up by the sound of the dining tables and chairs in the burger restaurant being arranged for the hotel buffet breakfast.

Disappointing

Breakfast was poor, very little choice. Despite being the hotel being 'dog friendly ' we were refused access to the Breakfast room with our dog, even though it was completely unoccupied, so we had breakfast separately. The 'restaurant' at the hotel didn't open at all, we traipsed around Somo trying to find somewhere dog friendly to eat, before going back to our room with ham, cheese and bread. A great way to end the holiday!!

There was a weird smell coming from the bathroom and there were roosters in the front street which would wake us up very early in the morning

We asked a bed for a couple and not two single beds together.

It was a lovely room with its own balcony. It was comfortable and clean and in a great location. The staff were helpful and even let me check in early as I arrived earlier than expected.

Although it had a fridge, it would have been great to have a kettle and cups for a cup of tea or coffee.

Host was very helpful. We were able to store our bicycles in the garage.

The wall slanted down near the bed so you have to bend down to avoid hitting your head when getting into the bed. Not ideal!

Good location, close to the main bars, restaurants and supermarkets and ready walking distance to the beach. Lively bar.

There was no aircon and the room was very hot. The shower had mould along the ledge as you entered it. The fridge had a potent sour milk odour. The hotel decor is very mismatched. It would bereft from a kettle in the room.

Very clean, tidy and great ambience. Excellent location for food, drinks, supermarket (if you need it) and access to the beach and surf accommodations.

My room didn't have aircon so I got a bit warm at times but the large door to the balcony helped to ventilate.

There was no free parkingVery small roomNo AC, no fan. Very hot during summer. No one was at checkout time in the reception. It took them many hours to respond to messages.

check in was very quick. The staff were excellent. Rooms were clean and tidy. The food was excellent, we had a set 3 course set meal one lunch time(paella, Hake and prawns, cheesecake, bottle off wine and coffee. It was fantastic. The staff behind the bar were friendly and very attentive.

15euros for parking when the whole town is free

The hotel is comfortable and well furbished, the town is nice and the beach is very pretty

Checkin was a bad experience. We were having an emergency, and the person in charge was hiding to avoid work, and then when I begged him to let me check in and return to finish any paperwork he basicaly didn't care we were having a horrible time. He took his time to slowly type the checkin.

Clean and comfortable, good price. The small farm opposite our room had some noisy animals in it though!

Great location, lovely staff, nice bar

Bedroom really needed updating. The wall light and curtain pelmet were broken and the toilet cistern kept leaking. No tea or coffee making facilities

Great location close to Somo Playa

It was all good. I would like coffee in the bedroom. Some noise at night- maybe the shutters rattling
