Yes. No designated smoking area. People smoked everywhere including restaurants. Construction inside hotel made very difficult to get to room. Private party was an inconvenience to paying guests. With areas and facilities closed at 2.

By the water, nice ocean views.

Room is showing it's age. Mold in the bathroom, smells like mildew. "Queen" sized bed is actually two twin scrunched together and will move apart. Uncomfortable mattresses and slow internet. We were glad to finally leave.

It is located next to the beach.

The worst bed ever, despite having the mattress changed. After the first night trying to sleep on it, ended up sleeping on the sofa cushions and sofa pull out bed. The juices at breakfast were watered down squash. Only 1 restaurant on site.

Location and proximity to beach and nice pool

The location on the beach is amazing.

The hotel needs a major update/makeover and a paint job. There's a lot of maintenance that could be done.

We almost didn’t book this property because of the negative reviews we saw online. The photos looked amazing, but we wondered. How could a 5-star hotel have a 7.1 rating with such mixed feedback? Still, the location was exactly what we wanted, so we decided to take a chance.If you’ve ever managed a business, you know that you can offer customers 99% satisfaction, and sometimes the remaining 1% becomes the main focus. So we carefully read through the reviews to understand what the complaints were and realized most of them weren’t major concerns for us. We went ahead and booked and requested a room with a great view and we’re so glad we did!Upon arrival, to our surprise, the hotel upgraded us free of charge. We got an incredible room almost like a private penthouse with our own garden, living room, kitchen, storage room, spacious living room, bedroom, bathroom, and the most breathtaking views of both the beach and the pool. Room 901 was simply perfect. The buffet options were great. We booked with breakfast only because we wanted to explore local cuisines during the day, but we later found out that with the all-inclusive package, guests can eat and drink as they want across all 12 or 14 restaurants owned by the MGM group. Some days, we paid just €20 to join the dinner buffet, which was absolutely worth it.The entire place feels like a resort relaxing, beautiful, and peaceful. The night beach walks, and the walkways lined with beautiful lights and restaurants created such an enchanting atmosphere. Did I mentioned the daily pool exercise at 12:15am ?Overall, we had a wonderful stay and were very satisfied with our experience. We’re truly glad we ignored the negative reviews and went with our instincts. We will definitely join others who visits here early

The location is great.

This hotel is a 3 star, at best. The facility is dilapidated. Oversized sheets on our bed. The top sheet was so large it was on the floor. Outdated furniture and lounge chairs. The curtain rods were broken and almost impossible to open or close them. The ceiling in front of our room door in the hallway was leaking, and no one addressed it after I notified them. The pool is in desperate need of repairs and it was dirty the whole time we were there. Also, whoever they paid to paint the hotel must of needed spectacles because the blue paint is badly applied. Basically, this place is in no way a 5 star hotel as advertised here in Booking.com. needless to say, it was a disappointment, and in no way like the photos.

The pool is decent sized with areas for kids, areas to dive and glide and a shallow area for all levels of swimmers. Located closely to the pool restaurant which makes it convenient to get food and drinks. The location of the hotel was convenient to get to the strip of the area for food, drinks and shops, but not in a walking distance to the old town though taxis are relatively priced, and easy to get to. It has a decent view from most of the apartments, looking out to the ocean, and it is also less than 5 mins to get to the beach. The room was relatively spacious for 2 adults and 2 kids, and it was convenient how the sofa bed becomes two separate beds.

It would have been more pleasant if the pool water was slightly warmer but it was bearable, and once you get inside the water, it is not too bad. Perhaps a heated pool would be nice for a 5 star hotel. Whilst the close proximity to the beach is great, but when you get to the beach, there is nothing from the hotel though it gives the impression that it is a beachfront hotel, but it operates separately from the beach itself that it wont even have their area on the beach so be prepared to find your own beach beds and everything else. The beach is nice but whilst a shoreline tours, there are other tons of much, much nicer beach that this one has a lot of seaweeds but it is still nicely sandy. For a 5 star hotel, the facilities in the bathroom are disappointment in the apartments that the dispensers for the shampoo, and body wash does not work, and when it does come out, it does not wash properly, so when coming here, please bring your own toiletries and don't assume you'll receive same or near enough of what other 5 star hotel usually provide. Room cleaning are adequate, and rushed, and generally things are a bit worn down for the stars it has this hotel. There are no information leaflet in the room of even finding what number to call for reception, and when or what time other things are happening around the hotel. Above all, what I find the most strange was the staff. Whenever we ask for something, they give this strange stare and attitude of making you feel like you shouldn't have asked, and the bar staff is rude and abrupt that that he turned off the lights mid pool game, and walked off without informing us, leaving us in a dark room where we even paid to play the game. However I do applaud the waiting staff in the pool restaurant of their relentless work of keeping on top of everything, and tending to everyone's needs, but the front office, bar staff needs to change their attitude otherwise it is all very questionable how the service is 5 stars.

Actually really liked the property overall, although in areas it did look quite tired and dated. There’s obviously been a lot of put into the design and the look of feel of the property overall. The room itself was of very high quality, if not a bit lacking in more wardrobe space to unpack.

Getting messaging from the hotel about having all of these amazing restaurants at the property was boarding on false advertising. Also from the pictures it looks as though the beach is part of the property which it isn’t. Very disappointing that we couldn’t use any of the additional restaurants offsite at sister hotels as we were told we need to book a week in advance… The trouble with that is we were only staying for three nights so where we were sold the dream, the reality was there was no room at the inn!!! This absolutely spoilt the surprise for my girlfriend‘s birthday, but we managed to go to a local steak house instead but paid for the pleasure! One final point was around the fact that I asked for a balcony upfront… What we were promised was something better than balcony, our own patio area. What they failed to tell us is it was the direct walkway to get to the beach and the aqua bar where the swimming pool was… This meant that we were completely overlooked and often ‘stared at’ by the many passers by, if we wanted to sit outside! This made us feel very over-baring when we just come here for some peace and quiet.

Big rooms and balcony, the view is amazing! Kitchen with everything you need. Breakfast and view was the best!!

Bathroom are down, they need a update!

The staff at the front desk were wonderful. I had the pleasure of speaking with a few different ladies working reception and they were very friendly, offered me local recommendations and were accommodating with all my questions. They really set the vibe for my entire stay and I was very pleased with their positive energy it seemed quite genuine. I interacted with some of the other staff working the grounds and cleaning folks too and honestly I think this hotel has some of the most polite and chill vibe staff. Everyone made me feel comfortable and I appreciated that very much.

I didn’t get the best sleep. The temperature in the room seemed a bit warm and there was some young people partying in the room above me but I didn’t really mind
