Nothing at all. We checked in and they gave us a room overlooking the roof. I wanted to check out, but knew it would be a fight to get a refund so I agreed to upgrade our room to a beach view...for $50E/night....and they asked for the upgrade fee in cash.

Silly operation....Charge for room safe, Cash Deposit for Beach Towels, AC never got room cold....and the worse bed and pillows of any hotel I have ever stayed at/

Had to pay $6,00 Euros per person per day for beach chair and umbrella from 3rd party beach chair service and walk back to Hotel 3rd floor restaurant for bathroom when on the beach... Way too far...

Amazing. Very well located, staff was super nice, breakfasts was great. Would definitely come back.

Stunning hotel right on the beach, easy access, great room and excrement service!

Beach view room was very nice. The staff and the breakfast were superb. We however, had to pay €10 for a bucket of ice or a store down the street had ice for €2.

Wonderfully located hotel, right on the beach. Great on-site restaurant and excellent breakfast as well. All of the staff, particularly the restaurant staff, are so friendly and helpful.

Room was a bit small, and the price for ocean view is more than double for garden view. Had a small closet for clothes and luggage, but it was tight.

Breakfast was good, at level expected and superior to everything else in the hotel (not that the bar was high)

Images on website do not represent the real room I’ve got. I had a reservation for 3 days, I cancelled after first (I arrived at the hotel 11:30 pm, checkout 8am next day so disappointed I was).They have a crazy weird role you can’t swim in the pool without a hat. No coffee in the room despite saying there would be.Same to locker - it said it would be made available, they did not say it is managed by a different provider (instead of the hotel), so you pay, sign - all to a different company. Sketchy, to say the least.Hotel in real life is way older than pictures. When you get to it, it looks like something from the 70s.On top of all, customer service is zero. I complained, sent message, no response.That said - all for a 4-star hotel - the price is super high, comparable to 4/5 stars in the region.It’s a scam, a shame and unbelievable how this hotel is portraited versus real life.

No view for small room and no flexibility in seeing if I could be moved to a better room with more sunlight

Location, staff, cleanliness

Staff were extremely helpful and friendly.

A clothing iron would be helpful. Asked the front desk, and was informed I could pay for laundry service to iron a shirt. For he price of the room, I would think the resort could a few irons for delivery to a room for a short duration.

Five minute walk to town…Excellent parking…

Barebone services and no beverages or even water in the cooler… An 8 ounce bottle of water was available upon arrival-and if needed more, required to go to the bar… Requested a room upgrade looking towards the beach and the manager told me it would cost me 60.00 if paid with a credit card or 40.00 if paid in cash; which I did… At check out, the invoice didn’t reflect the 40.00 I paid in cash and the front desk employee (at the time) told me that a revised invoice would be sent to my email… Still awaiting for the revised invoice… I have travelled all around and have never seen such an uncommon proposition…

Beautiful hotel, friendly staff and nice breakfast. We stayed in room 212 and it had a really nice beach view and looked out towards old town. Liked it so much we stayed an extra night and wished we could have stayed longer.

Breakfast was excellent with great choice. Location spectacular with gorgeous views of the ocean, Albuferia and with direct acces to beach

Good breakfast, great location with easy access to the Fisherman's beach. Staff friendly. Highlight was the viewing point to see the New Year's fireworks and drone display.

The sea view was partly obscured by the roof of the restaurant and the central protruding stairwell blocked views west.No fresh orange juice, which in a 4 star hotel in the Algarve is unforgivable.Very difficult parking.Rooms were remodelled but not to true 4 star level.

Breakfast was decent.

Staff were unfriendly, rude and mean. They no nothing about customer service. The bedding smells. Old beds. Very dim rooms. Hotel could use a major renovation and training to their staff how to be polite and friendly. They also did not understand peanut allergies. Rooms were not clean and left over sand from previous guest visible in shower and doorway.

I was on the cheapest room aa only for one night. My balcony was in front of the coffee area.

Excellent location with a beach view!

Housekeeping was very loud in the morning. They have walkie talkies with the volume up full blast and talk/yell to each other. That was very annoying!

The location was wonderful, steps from the beach and short walk to happening town. The service was top notch, the best I’ve seen. The breakfast is a full buffet of great selections.
