Marriott Residences Salgados Resort, Algarve

The staff was very friendly and helpful. The location is very nice. It's close to the beach and many restaurants. Breakfast was very good, and the waitress was very friendly.

Excellent place, very clean spacious apartments, exceptional front desk. Wish we could ha e stayed longer

The location is walking distance from the beach and there's an amazing restaurant across the street called Adega de Salgados.

Rooms were big in the bathrooms were very nice.

Staff were difficult to communicate with, several insurances of issues with room cleaning and facilities; tvs were quite good, but changing inputs were needlessly locked down, preventing the kids from playing Nintendo switch

Spacious apartments, clean, and very nice staff. Ton of pools at the property, so if you are a pool person, it’s fun.

After the transfer you need to walk to get to the beach, so, if you are not into walking but love swimming in the ocean, this can be an issue. There was no room service, so in case you forgot to dine, there is no possibility to order into the room.

The room was spacious, offering plenty of comfort during the stay. The location was also well-situated with easy access to a variety of beaches and excellent restaurants just steps away. Overall, a great spot for convenience and comfort.

Suite is very clean and pool is nice and the service in pool is great

No phone in the suite no safty box plus i told them 3 times when i check in to deliver my luggage .. slow in check in and he made mistake that he wants to charge the room and already paid .. still need more training.. his name 3 letter i forgot his name , but he was very slow maybe it take 25 to 30 minutes for check in and another 15 min to take my luggage and at the end i took them by myself then they saw me and came to help .

The rooms are fantastic, we got an upgrade to a two-bedroom apartment which enhanced the experience. The whole resort is very good – pools, common areas and gardens. The breakfast was very good and varied. The welcome drink at check-in was a nice touch, and the way they treated the kids was great too. Definitely coming back again!

It's noticeable that they are 'in transition' to a new brand. Many things are still being adapted, with a lack of organization and some need for training. Nothing that prevented an almost perfect stay. The restaurants were not yet fully operational and had limited options, especially at dinner (buffet), considering the price.

Great for kids , and for fast meals

We feel that the restaurants are poorly cleaned (dishes, glasses and cutlery ) we know these are busy areas , but with more trained staff and more attention to cleaning the tables etc you could achieve a 100% rate on the reviews.

It is an excellent hotel in a great location, and the rooms are unique for this hotel style; we had a two-bedroom room with a duplex balcony on the third floor, which was terrific, and we had a late afternoon/evening sun trap. A hotel that understands families need more than one room with hundreds of beds. Ignore the negative reviews on Trip Advisor, especially about the food; it was fantastic, and the food meant to be warm was warm. We need to remember that certain cultures deliver food differently from the UK.

In general, toilets need to be more of them, which are disgusting when you use them.Lack of choice of beer and wine, only one brand available, appreciate managing costs for all-inclusive but would improve the experience.There are not enough seats indoors at the bar in the evening.

Our apartment was lovely. We had 2 bedrooms and bathrooms with a great view of the pool. The afternoon and evening sun was a bonus!The food was typical all inclusive, but better than some places we've stayed in.The pools were cold, but great.Some reviews say the staff aren't very friendly. We found that if we were polite and friendly we got the same treatment back.I would recommend it and happily go back.

This resort was almost perfect especially considering it's only rated as a 4 star! Good value for money. Food was amazing throughout the week. There is isn't a lot of food choices but this meant all the food was tasty. There were wood fire pizzas and barbeques were actual on top of coal. All the rooms were clean, spacious and housekeeping was good. Lots of swimming pool so it didn't feel crowded which was great. Lots of choices of drinks, and all were mostly nice although sometimes inconsistent.

Limited number of staff, it would be great to have more staff around the place. In the dining rooms was enough, but would be good to have more staff around the place. Idea of reserving table is inconvenient because it's meant to be a relaxing holiday, not spending time reserving as you may not always know when you might be feeling hungry. Having said that, whenever we forgot, no issues getting table. 20€ deposit for towel is a bit too much. Beach is a little walk away, around 20 mins, it's quiet but can be difficult at night.

All round fab hotel, staff, food, location, rooms are huge, has a really warm feel which creates a great atmosphere for the guests.

The location was great for us just 10 mins from albuferia old town, there is also and Aldi just 20 minute walk away, the rooms are very spacious and clean, and he bed was also very comfy

The hotel staff was great but reception not so much, the food in the 3 restaurants was ok but I’ve had much much better in Portugal. It was rather bland even though there was quantity with the 3 different buffet styles it lacked qualityThe pool was clean but the pool area wasn’t really clean, there was lots of sand/dirt on the ground and when the pool water spilled out it was very dirty. Says there is a sport bar we spent a while trying to find it but it’s still under construction it appeared. Overall I wouldn’t stay here again mainly because I’ve had better food quality

Amazing pools, good food, spacios room :)

The surroundings of the hotel are great, nice walking,running trails. The room and balcony was huge, easy check in/checkout. Almost all the time food was available.

The cocktails were so terrible, I honestly don’t understand how can they approve to give them out when they are clearly terrible over sugary and just not right. Overall the food wasn’t to great, nothing really healthy to choose some meet were overcooked and food didn’t have much taste

Staff were excellent all over the Resort. Rooms were spacious clean with beautiful Palm Trees that made it feel Tropical. Excellent experience. Super bands.& Solo Artists, Brazilian boy on the Kids Club Team, he was great with our boy. ??

Very nice place! Very spacious.Many food choices, many swimming pools. We really enjoyed our stay there.
