Great location, good parking, walking distance from shops, restaurants and beach

As the weather wasn’t great, would have been great to have been able to use the fire, wouldn’t be a problem in warmer months

Location is great for Gale and Albufeira. Quiet and comfortable.

The children’s pool was dirty during our stay. Couldn’t park our car at the property yet we could last year when we stayed.

This facility is made up of privately owned duplexes and houses and managed by Glenridge resort. Having said that, this means it's not an Airbnb nor a Hotel. My unit had air conditioners on both levels. Which some reviews said that there aren't. My unit also had a washing machine. Which again some units do not have. Before booking, I recommend communicating with the management to ensure you have both if you need them. The facility does not provide toiletry items such as shampoo and soap, so bring those with you. In addition, it provides two rolls of toilet paper. So if you're traveling with a family, you will want to bring more toilet paper as well. We did receive an abundance of towels and had very frequent towel changes more than we actually needed from the management.Overall my duplex unit was great. Perfect for my family with 3 teens, although my son had to sleep on the couch.Good location. Great place to stay with a family. 20 min walking distance to beautiful beaches. Parking available as well.

I have seen several reviews of this place and some were not that positive. Having said that, you could have a wonderful stay if you prepare and manage your expectations.While there is a reception office, it has inconsistent hours of operation. This means that it was difficult for us to align our check in, to pay tourist tax, deposit and such with their hours of operation. For the tourist tax, we left cash on the table that they collected. For the deposit, we had to cut our plans short to meet them at 3PM, when they were in the office that day. Note that for deposit they require either 300 Euro in cash or filling out a form with your credit card information. They don't have the ability to put a hold on your credit card. Another issue we had because of this was the absence of 1 made bed for our 3 children. Upon arrival, only 2 out of the 3 beds were made, and no linens provided for the third. It took 2 nights of sleeping on a couch with "making do" until the management provided linens. While they are available via WhatsApp, the responsiveness and service is not that great compared to other vacation rental places we've stayed at

Quiet, clean and relaxing. Loved the fact that there is a pool too, Very well located for beaches as well as restaurants.

Disappointing experience

The unit was not clean. Bad odor in the kitchen.No one on site to assist. Communication by whatsapp very poor and slow.Not enough supplies like paper towels, toilet paper and bath towels. Had to borrow toilet paper from the gym

Well located. Well equipped. I'm not putting this as a negative but the WiFi was rubbish because it really doesn't matter.... But.....

Spacious, pretty pictures on the walls, the balcony looks to the garden and you can see the pool, and there is even some sun on the balcony sometimes, which can be nice. Enough storage space in wardrobes etc.

The man at check-in sexually harassed me and touched me inappropriately. When I raised it with other members of hotel staff, they said I would be able to only speak to women going forward. However, when I contacted the hotel, it was the man who replied and he refused to help me with my queries and was clearly angry that I had complained. I felt both unsafe and I also was not being helped. The room was dirty and there was a cockroach. The man who sexually harassed me disposed of it inappropriately by squashing it with his foot in my room, even though I had explained that this is dangerous due to spreading diseases and salmonella and other bacteria as well as the eggs by the cockroach. The bed was extremely uncomfortable and also dirty and there were crumbs in the bed. The hotel also refused to give me enough toilet paper, and I was there for six days, so this is clearly ridiculous. I hope that no one stays there going forward, it was a horrible experience and I would caution anyone against staying there. I am disgusted, honestly.

The property had good sized bedrooms and spacious enough for 4 people max, it was also very secure.

There was no outside table just 4 chairs, there was no staff on the premises if you had a problem they were at an office at another site, so if you did want to rent beach towels that day or needed and iron it was the next day before you could get this. Also a lack of sockets one socket in the kitchen to share toaster and kettle and one in the living room. There was also a bar and restaurant/cafe but didn’t open till 6:30pm would maybe have been nice to see it open earlier for drinks at the pool.

Quite and nice

Sofa bed was extremely uncomfortable, the host offered to change the apartment , but with a similar sofa bed. So we opted to stay in our apartment.

Nice quiet place, close to the beach, shops, restaurants. Clean place, everything you need for a good stay. We’ve enjoyed it!

no reception .. we never saw reception staff the whole time we were there... we called the number provided which was very hit and miss. when we did get on it was good. we initially wanted to extend another day but could not see anyone in reception.the wifi was functionally useless..little bit putoff after we booked when we got a message saying we owed for an extra fee.. it seemed like a put on for the unwary and quickly disappeared when we said we were referring it onto bookings.com

The apartments are well equipped, good location and great staff

Good location and good size

Advertised as air conditioned but only one old aircon unit in the living room nothing in the bedrooms. Cleaner took some expensive jackets that we left and went back for as we moved to a different apartment but then denied it.

The location.

The fact that the weather was super hot and they advertised the property with AC and we rented 3 apartments. 1 was with ac broken (no fans) 2 one with ac only in the room the rest of the apartment was hot and again no fans and the 3rd and biggest apartment had 1 ac in the living room and the 2 rooms didn't have ac nor fans it was impossible to sleep in those rooms. We have to move mattresses from 1 apartment to another at midnight, Finally after 2 days they fix the ac but no apologies from anyone from the property, we made the complaint and they didn't even give us money back (we paid 3 apartments but had to move from The one without ac since we were travelling with kids and with health conditions. Honestly the answer from the property wasn't right from my point of view because their only answer was things happens and ohh we had fans but we gave it away to people who checked in before you. Finally when the ac was fix they left a mess in the apartment, wires thrown on the floor, the lamp was also thrown on the floor, rest of dust from drilling on the walls, nobody cleaned after they repair the ac, honestly a terrible service. Not even a note, or something to make up for all the experience.

Fabulous pool, helpful staff who were prompt to sort out any issues.10/15 minutes walk to several local restaurants/bars and large aldi. Bus stop close by, very clean public areas, walking distance to beautiful beach, roughly 15/20 min walkApartment was very well equipped with everything we needed apart from a pair of scissors, which we found we needed several times.A Very homely, quiet apartment close to a small playpark, plenty of spare pillows and blankets,electric safety shutters for security.Air conditioning a HUGE bonus (bear in mind, only in the main bedroom and living area, no air con in 2nd bedroom, however if shutters are kept closed and air con is on in lounge/kitchen then room stayed cool anyway so no big problem)

Personally we felt it was a bit far from the action, and required ubers/buses to visit the main town or bars or other hotels that had entertainment for the children,however we were aware of this before travel, but not knowing the area beforehand we didn't realise how much walking we needed to do to access some evening entertainment. No shop on site which was a shame when the kids wanted a bottle of water or a snack at lunchtime, a small pool bar selling drinks and possibly snacks, would make this complex somewhere we could have stayed all day without having to keep returning to the apartment or heading off site.A very safe complex but no safe in the apartment, which would have been less of a worry if one had have been available.Beautiful restaurant attached to complex however, very pricey and no option apart from pizza for the children.

Nice modern condo .Close to beach...maybe 15 to 20 minutes. Quiet area with grocery store and restaurants 10 to 15min walk.

The kitchen could have used a few more items like utensils such as scissors ,egg lifter etc.

Would have given staff a perfect score but there was only one there every once in a while. We couldn't check out..so just left keys on table. Carolina was amazing though showing us how things worked
