    Pros +

    • The location! It is in a very beautiful, exclusive area of Albufeira. The private beach is shared only with a few other hotels. The beach is clean and the rest of the landscape was beautiful!! We didn't want to leave.
    • It is a beautiful and well located property, with lots of amenities. We loved everything about it, except for our rather tired apartment.
    • Loved everything about the resort! Great food, atmosphere, beach, spa, fitness, it has it all!

    Cons -

    • We went during winter and the air conditioning in the rooms did not keep the entire apartment warm. So, we spent the evenings only in our room because the rest of the apartment was so cold. Getting a shower in the freezing cold room was really tough!
    • The apartment we stayed in was part of the original build which we understand is over thirty years old, and much of the apartment has not been changed since the original build, so parts of the unit were quite tired and badly needs to be refurbished. Although I must say though that the air conditioning system (Daikin) seemed relatively new and worked quite well. So although everything worked except the toaster and which was eventually replaced. In particular the combination clothes washer & dryer was so old that we couldn’t find any instructions online and after two frustrating days of trying to figure it out we needed an operating lesson from one of the senior staff technicians on how to operate it. The apartment itself was quite spacious and well laid out.
    • The resort is quite big so things are spread out. If you are staying in the terrace units, the walk to the reception, Beach and eating area can be a 5- 10 minute walk.

Great location near the beach. Clean. Helpful staff.

Food and drink extremely expensive. Every extra costs ££££ sadly - I felt less like a valued guest and more like a cash machine!

The resort was beautiful. Beach, pools, golf. Lots to do. Unit was well stocked and very clean. Check in was easy and friendly. A few things within walking distance, restaurants and grocery. And plenty more within driving distance. Free parking was appreciated.

I think being the cold season,( to cold to swim in the many pools, ) that the price was a bit high. And the bathrooms had no fans, or none that worked anyway. This made them wet. Floors, counters, everything was always wet. The on suite bathroom in the primary bedroom made the bedroom itself damp. And being the rainy season it was impossible for anything to dry out without proper fans/ventilation.

The view from the property was beautiful. There were several restaurants to choose from. The staff were very friendly and helpful.

O Pescador restaurant. Our waiter was very keen until we didn’t order drinks and large meals. Then he suddenly became aloof and on the verge of rude. Obviously he wanted us to spend more money.

Staff couldn't be more pleasant and helpful. The facilities are exceptionally clean and well maintained.

Golf course wasn't in as good condition as on previous visits at same time of year. Restaurants and golf club house are very expensive.

The location on the cliffs and the grounds. The spa, the pool. The reception staff..

The apartment was too far from the main hotel complex and smelt stale and unused. The decor could do with a major updating. There were ants on the floors everywhere. The majority of the restaurants were either closed or booked for private functions at key times of the day. The complex didn't flow well and was a little disjointed. There was no one servicing the pool or sun lounger areas (probably due to the private function). They missed a lot of extra business with this. In trying to satisfy everyone, it just felt to me that their target clientele was way too large. As there were lots of children having a ball, I think they could also consider an adult only area. Our first trip (overnight stay) was maybe too short to make a proper judgement, and if we return, we would look for a better positioned apartment or room.Out of everything, the closure of areas for private bookings would be the biggest turn-off..

Multiple restaurant options and all the food was delicious! The sunset view from the champagne bar was an amazing way to end each day. My wife loved the Serenity Spa treatment and facilities.Special shout out to the concierge Carlos who helped us multiple times and went above and beyond.

It took some time to figure out the operating hours of the restaurants and shops, as they all appeared to have different times.

Pine cliffs is a great resort and we have stayed there several time before. The two bed luxury townhouse we were given was in really poor repair. We had had to report several safety issues with the property including screws sticking out of the floor and broken furniture. After 3 attempts we stopped trying to get the TV to work. At appx £400+ a night, the property felt like something from 1980’s.

The beach and pools are great and the staff are nice.

Beautiful grounds, lovely breakfast and the most stunning beach.

    Beautiful setting. Tailored for families

Electric scooters zooming past people. Almost run over my daughters. They cannot be allowed

Pools, resort facilities, staff very friendly and nice, the resort is full of pine trees and palm trees, very green, beautiful beach and road to beach. Cleaning every day, including towel changes. The townhouse we stayed in has everything you need, very well equiped and big with a cozy terrace outside facing the interior resort gardens. Beautiful resort and very big.

Drinks and food are very expensive, prices are double then outside the resort. Tips automatically included in every bill so watch out to not double it if not intended.

The property is the least nice one in the complex- but still worth it to stay at this gorgeous complex. Beds were very comfy.

Looks on to noisy entrance/ carpark. Very musty after winter- sofa bed very uncomfortable.

We’ve stayed here before and loved it. It’s a beautiful resort, with great facilities and friendly staff. This time we chose a townhouse which enabled us to self cater to keep the costs down. It was a stunning place with a fully equipped kitchen and garden furniture and a BBQ. We come for the golf and love the course. My advice is to bring or rent your own clubs and trolley again to keep costs down. The champagne bar is worth a visit at sunset. Stunning views!

It’s expensive but you pay for what you get. There is a supermarket just outside the resort which is worth getting the basics from.

Huge gorgeous property, the cliffs, the beach, the grounds are immaculate. The service is awesome. There is beauty everywhere you look. Our suite was fantastic. Super nice.

Casual dining place served mediocre food. The fish restaurant very overpriced. Zest very good, Pirir Piri very good.

The resort was amazing. We found the entire resort well organized and clean! The staff were always attentive and responsive to any of our questions or needs.

The only little complaint was the clarity in finding our way around the resort. Signage was adequate, however not always visible. I also wasn’t too impressed to see smaller children in areas that should only be for adults. Bars/lounges for example, seeing young kids playing billiards when it should be more for the adults. It was great to see that the resort addressed the needs of kids and children of all ages, however, there should also be some restrictions for areas that should only be for adults!

Staff was great. Facilities are great. A lot of options for kids - entertainment, pools, babysitting. Resort shuttle was really efficient and helpful.

Room was slightly old but functional.
