The bed is very hard.The (fast) food by the pool is quite pricey

Its just perfect for family and with toddler as the kids pool is very safe(of course still with adult in attendance) but the ambiance of the resort is just very relaxing and stress fee. Bonus the breakfast buffet and the bar where you can buy drinks and bring in the pool side! Perfect perfect! My son also had a free cocktail as it is his birthday.

I cannot connect to the wifi. Maybe the AC can be changed to a newer units .

Very cleans and the slides were amazing for little kids. The apartment is clean and confortable

The Breakfast restaurant is a nice big area, lots of room for all the people. The location of the hotel is just outside of the busy Albufeira. Our hotel room is a good size for a family of 4.

In our room, we noticed a lot of ants wandering around the room. I found a live cockroach in the bathroom.

Very clean hotel with lots of pools, you can choose different one everyday.Plenty of activities and very friendly staff.I would highly recommend the Alfagar Hotel.

Bathrooms could be updated a little bit but except that nothing.

Big apartments, great pool, not overly busy, overall buffet was good lots of choices and all staff were friendly and helpful. Not offering all inclusive/drinks package is great as there were no tossers. Quiet at night. Lots of activies on all day and you can use facilities across the road too.

Overcharged e650 at check in, that was a disaster, had to get a loan from family through revolut, still waiting on refund to card. Drinks very expensive: e8 for a Radler at pool. Kids disco at 8pm and entertainment for the hour after was a screamfest, way too loud to sit in bar, although when disco wasn't on on Sunday/Monday it was much nicer vibe. No where outside the complex to go at night in walking distance. Our suncreams and inflatable were stolen from our lounger as we sat eating lunch.... bizarre.

Lots of pools, self-catering rooms, rooms cleaning 5 times a week, multiple restaurants, aqua-parks, play grounds, bars.

Most of the cleaning staff don't speak English. We couldn't communicate and ask them to come back later. Ended up without any loo roll for a day and dirty floors for a couple of days.

Events for kids, pool area, kids enjoyed water slides a lot.

Location is a bit far from the beach, need to walk 15mins with many stairs.

Really couldn't fault it here. Breakfast & facilities was very good. One particular staff member Ben was so so brilliant. He made our trip. Always there to welcome and talk to everyone everyday at breakfast. He always remembered us and always had a smile! We will be back.

The only downside was having to pay for each activity in the kids club. We had to pay for our one year old to just be there, even though he didn't participate, it was our two year old that was. Not much to actually play with

Lack of staff during busy hours

The amount of options you have, and availability of pools and amenities are excellent.

Not being able to book the ground floor pool side apartments as requested. This is our 5th visit and have only been able to get the poolside ground floor appartments once and off season. Apparently, you are unable to pre book these. With two small adopted girls, we were hoping to be able to book these in advance but it appears this is not possible even at an additional cost.

Nice pools and location

We were put in a room different from what we booked when the pictures were shown to us in booking.com. The bathroom had very poor conditions and was not up to 4 star standard.

This is our third time staying here and we once again had a great stay. Location is great, pools scattered everywhere and the beach is stunning.

Everything was great.

Loads of swimming pools to choose from, great breakfast buffet, beautiful beaches. Room was clean and comfy.
