Tropical Sol

We enjoyed staying at the tropical sol so much that when we book to go back to albufeira we will be booking this hotel.We cannot fault it .The rooms are lovly with every amenity the pool area was really nice and the staff were so helpful an efficient.

Was expecting Studio apartment we got 1bedroom apartment. Very spacious with pool views and quiet st night with a telly in both bedroom and sitting room.

The only very 0leasently surprisedminor thing was the chairs in sitting room and patio were not the most comfortable .

The stairs down to the rooms were wet (due to rain) and could be very slippy

two of us were talking on the balcony at 2am and though we were not being loud the man at reception came out to the courtyard and shouted our room number for everyone to hear, which is dangerous! as then people would know that our room was 2 young girls there by ourselves. should have respectively rang the room to ask us!

The apartment concept was nice, it was clean.

The ceiling in my room was dripping, which wasn't nice. The internet is very poor, they never even tried to fix it. If you are a digital nomad, I don't recommend this place because you won't be able to work at all.

the rooms were big and clean this was our third time here and I would recommend the hotel to anyone.

Location was central without being noisy. Room was very spacious. Pool was big and it looked ok but we didn't use it. Front desk staff was nice and professional.

The hotel is old fashioned and cheesy and in need of refurbishment. Bed was clean but room and bathroom weren't very clean.

Big apartment, spotless , clean towels supplied each day, swimming pool excellent and big also great pool bar with good snack food.

Good clean hotel and pool area. Very friendly and helpful staff and also had great facilities for lesser abled guests, such as lifts down to the pool area and ramps where needed.

The rooms were slightly dated and could be laid out better. Bed was a little firm. The Bathroom lights were strange to work and confusing.

The location was good with plenty of restaurants etc close by.

There were 4 of us in one apartment so 2 of us had sleep on a pull out bed and sofa. Uncomfortable

DO NOT STAY HERE. 1 star hotel. DIRTY ROOM, Rude staff, Rooms are filled with bugs & cockroaches & got overcharg

I have never experienced such a rude receptionist in my life, I think her name is Maria? I’m surprised how she is still working here with her mean, rude & unpleasant attitude towards customers. I asked her a simple question & she replied back with the rudest tone trying to belittle me - the client , she is not polite & yells at customers. How can someone like this work at the front desk which is The first point of contact for customers? It drives people away & already left an unpleasant impression from the start. I had to get my dad to come with me the second time in order for her to be a bit nicer (I guess she needs a male figure around in order to answer questions calmly). Additionally, OUR ROOM WAS DIRTY. Our room looked like it hadn’t been cleaned in months. There were cockroaches on the ground, dead bees, spider webs & bugs all over. Not sure how this hotel is 4 stars, should be 1. This is not something you expect to see when you are vacationing. Finally, the hotel had overcharged us vs what we paid on booking & were refusing to give us a refund for the overcharge or explain the overcharge. No explaining or anything - THEY DO NOT CARE ABOUT THEIR CLIENTS. There is also no parking. Do yourself a favour & go elsewhere!! There are so many better properties than this that actually treat their clients with respect.
