Agua Marinha ROSA- Hotel

Top notch accommodation and great VFM in a quiet, secluded result on the Algarve coast. This was, I think, my 6th visit since 2010 and everything has always remained as it was on my 1st. I think that just about everyone of the other guests I spoke with socially were on a return visit - says a lot about the place.

Nothing adverse to report.

Burgers,fries and pizza was available in the evenings which was ideal for nights we decided to stay in. Lovely and peaceful,not suited for people who like to party out loud. Everyone nice and friendly

There was nothing to dislike apart from the pool being too cold to swim in but that’s because our stay was in November so it was expected. Will be back in a warmer month to wake up to a swim in the pool before we venture the lovely towns and local beaches

Quiet location but close to good restaurants.. Helpful with late check in. Breakfast was fine for the money. Excellent value.

we liked the peace and quietness of the location. Convince for travelling into the main town. Lovely restaurants within walking distance. Fresh orange juice was delicious. Weather was surprisingly hot and sunny.

No coffee in the room. Shower bracket was broken. No light on the veranda. Breakfast selection wasn't great. Could add some croissants. Too much bread. The bed was awful, soft, lumpy and bumpy mattress. The pillows were not comfortable either.

Nice friendly hotel in a great location near the beach beach and restaurants. Staff were very helpful and breakfast was good.

Bed was a bit uncomfortable and WIFI didn't work in the room

Avoid

Beds are terrible. Mattraces are with springs, uneven and bumpy, pillows are impossible. And we had a 'superior' room. Also, we initially got a double instead of twin beds as was reqested. wifi in the room inadequate.

Everything fab. Allocated a room on the ground floor on arrival (a change to the original one) as my wife has mobility issues when dealing with stairs. Thanks guys.

This hotel has everything!Location, friendly atmosphere, cleanliness, value for money.

This is only a small thing, but maybe more variety with the breakfast. No option of anything hot.

We love this hotel. Stay here at least four times per year. Can't complain about anything. It's exceptional. The owners and the staff are just the best. Food is excellent. Beds are very comfortable and it's exceptionally clean. Just love it..

Comfortable room, friendly staff and a good location. Basic but very clean and can see why people wish to return.

Staff were fantastic, went out of their way to assist you in any way possible. Location fantastic for local restaurants and supermarket. Beach easily accessible with only a short walk.

Booked a double room but only got a twin! When I asked why they said only ‘a room’ had been stipulated and we had to contact the property to select what room we required even after selecting the type of room when booking! Beds quite hard so was a tad achy first thing in the mornings.

It is a small and quiet family run property situated a short walk from shops and restaurants. It is off the main road so is very peaceful with lots of guests returning time and again. The staff are incredibly friendly and helpful at all times and made us feel very welcome. The hotel team work tirelessly to ensure cleanliness throughout the hotel and surrounding areas.

The room and balcony were lovely and the parking was excellent

The only thing that spoiled the whole experience, was that I only availed of breakfast on one morning and that breakfast was ruined by the appearance of a scrawny cat walking from outside, across the dining room and into the kitchen. He came back out of the kitchen after 5 minutes unchecked by anyone. He completely put me off my breakfast.

Everything was amazing, up to the highest standards: from cleanliness (extremely clean and shiny) to location and comfort. Even though it is a 3-star hotel, it deserves 4 stars realistically, and ideally 5 stars.

A great little hotel. Very clean and well maintained throughout. The staff were exceptional, nothing was too much bother, they were extremely friendly and made you feel special. Paul the manager, Maniss in the bar, Alessandra and Cleo at breakfast in the mornings, and also cleaning the bedrooms, went out of their way to ensure that you wanted for nothing. Would have no problem recommending this hotel and look forward to returning again in the not too distant future.

I liked pool and the breakfast area which had a view to the pool. Also a car park which was free to use, very convenient.

Upon entering there is a strong smell of incense, which I found really off putting but others may not mind. You can sense its a religious building with lots of figurines and candles - again not a major issue as there was nothing in the room itself but something I noticed. The room itself was spacious but furniture looked outdated and sheets made it look very cheap. Our room wasn’t cleaned the next day and when we told the man at reception, he said it’s because the cleaning service takes place before 12 but we had already left the hotel by then which we pointed out - after which he said it was because there is no cleaning on Sunday. No racks to put towels or clothes in Bathroom. We wanted extra towels which they were reluctant to give and when we asked for an iron, we were given it but told twice to make sure to return it - some guests might not, but hey. Also we had an early flight the next day but missed breakfast because it starts quite late.

Nice peaceful but friendly hotel serving a good breakfast and well located to visit the local beaches.

A lovely hidden gem. Clean, good sized room with an amazingly powerful shower. exceptional staff who were kind helpful and happy all day everyday. Nothing was too much trouble. Friendly guests as well including the resident cat. Close to amenities.
