    • "location,Be careful with Google GPS, it's wronguse apple and the hotel name for GPS, not the address
    • I am not usually so enthusiastic, but I loved this place. It is a secluded little road near Gordes, surrounded by gorgeous countryside. An older, quaint exterior, but the interior was up to date, and my room was fine. If you can, get a room with a balcony — beautiful! The proprietress was very warm and friendly, and the breakfast was what I needed. And the price was more right for my stay, too — not expensive when I biked last-minute.

    Cons -

    • Dirty cups, glasses and mugs. The cleaner left the dirty cleaning on top of our bed and trash bag between our suitcases.
    • don't go on weekend, Sundays most restaurant closed for business
    • No suggestions.

Perfect location. Close to the town center. Extremely quiet. Convenient and free parking. I added a picture I took from our balcony

Parking was free in the public lot (slip provided by the hotel). Staff was very friendly and spoke excellent English. They assisted us in making dining reservations. Breakfast was bountiful.

Prime location, lovely family running it, great pool for an afternoon dip and dinner right at the hotel

Ground floor rooms you will hear guests coming back in all evening. Very minor issue and the hotel staff try to get guests to do so quietly

Parking right by hotel. The WiFi, the breakfast spread was wonderful. The owners …Oliver and Julie were there to always help out…and the pool was great in a beautiful setting. The dinners outside were wonderful and priced right.

    Can’t think of anything…

The managers are very nice and helpful. The location was good and the parking was easy.

The room is a fairly modest but clean and comfortable.

Everything went well, Great location, EZ parking in lot across street, owners/staff were terrific, helpful and friendly. Nice restaurant owned by same owner across the street was very good and a good value.

They indicated that the hotel may be sold in the next few months.

The location was excellent as it was a short walk to the center of Roussillon. The free parking lot was right across from the hotel. We found the hotel to be quiet and relaxing. There are several couches and chairs in the lobby with travel books for reading.

We have no suggestions for improvement.

The room is large, clean and the staff is very kind

My stay at La Maison des Ocres was superb. Julie and Oliver are the most hospitable hosts. Julie went over and beyond to welcome me and assist me with finding a place for dinner (I visited in the off season when many places were closed plus I am a celiac and require gluten free food options) and providing me options on the breakfast buffet. Her graciousness coupled with the natural beauty of Roussillon made this stay one of my favorite parts of my trip to the Luberon. My hotel room was comfortable and private. In the future, I would gladly stay here again.

At the initiative of the hotel staff, we were also given a free room upgrade. The room and the bathroom were spacious and comfortable. They also helped us with making reservation of restaurant.

The kindest and most helpful hosts! Repeatedly going way beyond expectations to help me out. The perfect location in the centre of town, the stunning sunset views from my room. The great breakfast buffet with lots of choice, and of course the pool!

Our rooms/beds were very comfortable with a beautiful view from our terrace. The owners were very friendly, waited for our late check-in and the dinner was delicious. Highly recommend the place. Roussillon is a magical place to visit.

    10KarenPosted on: 9-13-2024

The room was a great size, clean and well equipped. The bed was comfy. The hosts were really friendly and helpful. Breakfast was excellent. Great position, just a 5 minute walk into Roussillon was great for an evening walk and meal.

Small, but very charming hotel with restaurant and pool. The owner and his wife were very helpful. We had booked a room with balcony, which is recommended to enjoy the view. The hotel is close to the village but still you feel like being in a quiet place. Breakfast options were many and food at the restaurant was good. Only “complaint” is that the Nespresso machine in the breakfast area is very noisy

    Very noisy Nespresso machine

    10RalphPosted on: 8-17-2024

The location is good as it is away from all the pedestrian crowd yet the village is only a short walk up the hill. We had breakfast on site each morning, which was excellent, and dinner twice in the restaurant. Oliver and his wife were most helpful. Finally, it was SO hot in Roussillon last week the pool was a special treat each afternoon.

Within a short walk of everything in Roussillon and the couple owning the hotel were super friendly and helpful. They even let us charge our electrical car using a normal plug. The breakfast was really good - super value for money! The restaurant was simple but decent
