Lovely place, certainly deserves more than 2 stars it currently has. Good location with ocean view. Friendly staff. Hotel room was cleaned and towels replaced every day.

OSB is a rather unique design choice, at least from our point of view.

The appartement is simple but all you need for nice holidays. The location is great, walking distance to the beach and supermarkets/restaurant. There is a big parking which is great too.The pool is clean, spacious and nice.The cleaners who services our room everyday were so kind and friendly.

The mattress is very hard, but it seems to be common in portugal.Sometimes bad smell from the bathroom.

I have to say that it surprised us. This is a no frills hotel and for the price we thought this was going to be basic, but we were completely wrong.We loved it. The room was really spacious and very clean. Staff was great and very helpful. The room was cleaned every day. The shower had good pressure. It has aircon. The breakfast was really nice and very good value for money. The pool was really niece and spacious.All in all, I would say that it was a great hotel and I would recommend it. Although this is a 2 star hotel, in my opinion this hotel is more of a 3 star plus.

If I had to say anything negative about the hotel is that the tiles on the bathroom makes it a bit dated.

I loved the workers' sympathy. Breakfast was great for a 2-star hotel, and the room and bathroom were very clean. My kids loved the pool.

I stayed for 1 night. Spacious, clean room with everything you need. There is free parking that closes at night. The staff is friendly and ready to help. Breakfast is simple but good for me.

The main problem was the unpleasant smell from the bathroom, which manifested itself at night. It was the smell of dampness, possibly from the pool nearby.

I liked the room and the staff.

I would love that the swimming pool would be open until midnight, to enjoyed after a day in beach.

The swimming pool is excellent - big and cared for.

It was surprising that the hotel had no bar. It would have made the pool more enjoyable and the hotel would have made money.

The staff were amazing. So very friendly, always a smile.

The hotel is dated. It has many rooms and a few buildings, so I am sure the expense would be great to renovate.

Staff very helpful, bed was really comfortable and having a balcony made the evenings so much more pleasant! The pool is really good, quite big and the water warmer than expected as the sun hits it all day long! Shower had hot water with good pressure.It is about a 5 minute walk from both beaches (either walking on normal street or if you fancy a wilder route, through the dunes to a beach that does not have a lifeguard)If I come back to VN Milfontes I'll definitely stay here again

Maria, Christiana & Flavio from reception & all the cleaning ladies with their friendly & professional service made our stay a wonderful one. Maria, in particular, always went the extra mile. She managed to have our stay extended (on July peak season at that!) for an additional 7nts in a hotel room as we had only booked 3nts in a standard studio room. She gave the best tips what to see & do, and where to eat. Both rooms were cleaned daily. New towels provided if required. Mattress & pillows on both rooms were comfortable. Wifi was excellent in the studio rooms but a bit slower in the hotel rooms but wasn't a problem for us as we were out all day. Standard Studio has a kitchenette with necessary kitchenware to whip up our own meals. There's a full size fridge, toaster, microwave & cooktop.Continental breakfast for 6 per adult is pretty good. Plenty of bread & pastry choices, jam, butter, cereals, fruits, orange juice & best coffee machine ever. The hotel is conveniently located within short walking distance to the beach (400mtrs to Praia da Franquia) & about 700mtrs to the closest bakery, snack bar, cafes, restaurants & grocery stores area in the town centre. Not but not least it's a mere 800mtrs to Arcanjo or Farol de Milafontes Rio Mira to catch the most amazing sunsets. Parking inside the hotel compound is never a problem and the security gate is closed at night. We came home pretty late one night & had to park just outside the hotel with no issues whatsoever.The hotel is in a pretty quiet area with only the birds waking you up in the morning.The swimming pool is a bonus during the sweltering heat. Wish they closed later than 8pm though. The best part is the value for money in comparison to other properties around the We'll definitely come back.

We liked everything about this place but would be nice to have a mini-fridge in the hotel room & electric fan in studio & hotel room. But the price is right so all good.

Excellent location, close to Praia do Farol and the downtown. The pool is decent, the rooms are large and comfy, breakfast was decent. We parked in the courtyard, and enjoyed the quiet streets in the nearby.

Its a basic but clean and very well located.the pool is very handy, with enough chairs and space.Quality/Price is really good!!

The bedroom are very basic, but still appropriate for the rate you pay.

- friendly, attentive staff- good breakfast with everything one needs- access to the beach right around the corner- close to the town centre, restaurants etc but still quiet at night
