Beautiful inclusive hotel, great breakfast, hotel rents boats, bikes, and other gear, has a nice outdoor area for guests. Beautiful rooms and great view. Would be great for families that want to spend a few days relaxing at the hotel.

It was not in easy walking distance to restaurants, guests need to plan to either eat on-site, plan to drive to a nearby town, or rent or bring bikes.

Our stay at Gasthaus Sissi was absolutely wonderful and exceeded all our expectations! From the moment we arrived, we were charmed by the warm and inviting atmosphere. Our room was not only spotlessly clean and incredibly comfortable, but it also offered breathtaking views of the surrounding mountains. The attention to detail throughout the guesthouse, from the cozy decor to the thoughtful amenities, truly made us feel at home.The breakfast spread each morning was a highlight – a delicious array of fresh, local products that fueled us perfectly for our day's adventures. What truly sets Gasthaus Sissi apart, however, is the exceptional hospitality of the hosts. They went above and beyond to ensure our comfort, offering fantastic local recommendations and making us feel like valued guests, not just customers. The location in Garmisch-Partenkirchen is ideal for exploring, with easy access to hiking trails and charming town centers. We left feeling refreshed, rejuvenated, and already planning our next visit. Highly, highly recommend!

There was not enough time to stay longer...

Everything was great! The big garden is wonderfull - lots of birds, ducks and geese who walk in a flock on the grass and go down to the lake !The room was perfect and breakfast is the best!!!

The hotel is just at the side of the Chiemsee lake, the view, the location, the park are fantastic. You get this feeling of a classy hotel in magnificent surroundings. It has a private swimming house on a pierce, where you can change and just enjoy the lake. Breakfast -esthetic and meeting every expectation. We were sad to leave, will definitely stay there again.Comfy beds, soundproof walls, very welcoming staff.

A very clean and neat property. We were a family of 4 with 2 young children and the Maisonette Suite was very comfortable for us. There is an internal staircase to a loft for the main bed, there were baby gates at the top and bottom. Note the stairs are not suitable for anyone with mobility issues. The breakfast we had was fantastic! A great variety and very well presented. The grounds of the hotel has a little playground and plenty of space for kids to run around. This leads to a wonderful view of the lake and mountains were there is a jetty with a lovely deck you can sit on and swim from in the warmer months. Location wise it was a very short drive the ferry in Gstadt and also about 10 minutes from Prien. We loved our stay here and will definitely be back.

Huge clean rooms! Lovely breakfast. Very attentive staff. Plenty of parking with plenty of room for larger cars.

Beautiful venue and very nice old buildings in great shape. Hotel is directly front of the water. Buildings are well maintained and clean. Breakfast is ok. Great location for biking.

Hotel restaurant not operating. Next restaurant 2 km away...So you need to use the car. Very expensive snacks available (smallest bags of chips and nuts you can imagine)Beds and pillows are horrible...sorry to say. There was some siren blowing in the near by village, the whole night and we could not sleep... (Not the Hotels fault though). Breakfast buffet is stuffed in a very small room, which gets fully packed in the morning...

Hotel is set in a beautiful park adjacent to the lake and small boat harbor, The Breakfast is excellent,Pitty about the weather, I couldn't cycle around the lake

For the high cost per night I expect1) lifts to rooms2) Air conditioning3) No insectsSadly the lack of lifts after a six hour drive made going up two steep sets of stairs, uncomfortable and annoying.The place,outside was swarming with mosquitoes. An obvious regular occurrence due to the fact that all windows had thick nets fitted. Some got in the room and we were bitten all night.We both struggled to sleep as the heat in the room was at sauna level. No air conditioning made it impossible to cool down, even with all windows open.

Beautiful location. Rooms large and facilities good. Food excellent we had evening meal and breakfast.

The property was fabulous but a problem with mosquitos. Don’t know if it’s time of year or the weather.

Very clean places, nice breakfast, good beds, the ponton on the lakeside where you could swim, was a big surprise and 'surplus'

Due to the presence of the lake, there were lots of moscitos, nothing really the staff could do about, but quiet annoying

Quite close to a road as background noise - but nothing major (so try to get a lake-facing room which will be quieter). Curtains let is some light which won’t bother most people - buy I’m a bit light sensitive! Hotel could benefit from a proper sign from the road - it’s hard to find and nothing to indicate it’s a hotel from the outside

Place is unique. Lake and surrounding is very nice.

Communication of hotel employees could be more professional. The information provided by hotel staff were not accurate, which has caused a lot of confusion to us. Will be helpful when all the info be included in guest book or provided as leaflets at the reception. The rooms were nice and clean, although a bit outdated ( for the price ok)but shower has shown signs of mold which I personally find unacceptable. I would reccomend the hotel for businness but not for families with kids.

No air-conditioning in room. Would assist in hot weather but otherwise all good.

Good place for families, good location, good breakfast. Unfortunately it rained a lot and we couldn't explore the area. But we'll be back.

Comfortable

Check-out time by 10:00 is very early, also when you can’t check in until 15:00. Breakfast time lasts two hours, rather short.

Excellent location, right on the lake, surrounded by a park. The room is big and clean. The staff is very friendly. The breakfast is excellent, served on the terrace.

The room was next to the street, so it was noisy at night.
