Ok, so my wife and I decided to go on a relaxing weekend getaway. We wanted to take a break from everyday stress and to enjoy some "we" time in the pools, saunas, spa. We wanted to get some couple massages and so... We chose Rimske Terme because of their reputation, and of course Instagram pics from many influencers.B ut at the end, it was nothing like we've imagined.Let's start from the beginning, there is no public parking space so you have to park in the hotel garage and of course you pay for it (Not cheap!), than we go a room which was ok, but not worth €250 per night (inside wall view).Then we went to the pool area, now you would expect that to be the main and the best thing this hotel has to offer but you are so wrong. Instead of smelling relaxing scents, you smell burgers and French fries and local bear, because there is a fast-food bar in the pool area, thats right, in that amazing pool area. Terrible! What was even harder is that there was no place to lay down by the pool because it was so crowded (many are not guests but local residents). The pools were filled with children splashing and screaming, nothing like Instagram would suggest.We wanted to get some massage or couples treatments but everything was fully booked two days in advance. Luckily one girl from the ground floor managed to get us a 20-min thermal experience for us.The all other service (except for that one girl and reception) were very rude, especially one guy working afternoon on the pool bar and then in the lobby bar. To expensive for a bad manners service. He didn't know the menu. He threw the plate with food on our table and so one. The hotel buffet restaurant, terrible as well, small offer, no one came to serve us with drinks, and they did see us.All together, it was a bad experience and we will certainly not visit Rimske Terme again and we would not suggest it to anyone.

Pool and wellness area, clean and spacious room, comfortable bed, ability of late checkout with slight surcharge is really convenient.

Food served for breakfast is seriously below any 4* standard. Variety is ok, but quality itself is simply horrible. Also, dining area is very large and gives a student canteen vibe. Hotel itself is really nice, so such poor food and eating area stands out a lot. Charging 8 € per day for parking garage is also quite abusive since outside (free) parking space is almost non existent. I'd understand this if hotel was located in city center, but it's in the woods. No power outlets near bedside.

The food was excellent - breakfasts and dinners were really tasty. Kudos to the chefs! The whole complex is very big, so it's easy to get lost, but it really does have everything you need - fitness centre, restaurants, cafe, swimming pools, sauna, walking trail, historical area, etc.

The staff wasn't the friendliest - on arrival we were told that our booking wasn't in their system (although booking.com confirmed the booking and deducted the money from my bank account), so they got us another room. When we left, we were told that we had to pay for the room again, even though I had already paid for everything in advance. I called the customer support of booking.com, and thanks to them I avoided paying twice (and the hotel staff didn't even care about my paying receipt, they didn't even want to see it). I lost almost two hours because of this inconvenience, and the reception staff didn't even apologise to me for their mistake. I had the feeling that they were trying to scam me and charge me twice for a service that I had already paid for. Other customers have had similar problems (at least two others in about half an hour).!!! Be careful not to get scammed !!!
