    • Location and view. Convenient and comfortable and very clean with updated decor. Room was cosy but perfect for our one night in Sines.
    • great view
    • The staff was very friendly and helpful.

    Cons -

    • No. I think they are putting in an elevator but we had to carry bags up the stairs. Fine for us but may be difficult for some guests.
    • Some parts of the hotel including my room and the downstairs breakfast eating area were not air conditioned. Although that may not be an issue most of the year, the week I was staying was unusually warm.
    • Steep walk to the beach. The cliff side elevator was permanently out of order. Pillows were flat and thin.

The location was perfect, the value excellent, including the fine breakfast. I don't really see how it could be improved. Next time we're in Sines, and we fully intend to return, this is where we'll stay. Kudos.

The balcony view out to sea. Good location for bars and restaurants. Helpful staff. Good choice at breakfast, but the room needed more ventilation - open windows.

Steep walk to the beach. The cliff side elevator was permanently out of order. Pillows were flat and thin.

This is our third time at the hotel. We love the location and are feel attached to the property in general. Will likely return.

We have some suggestions: 1. shelving in bathrooms to put makeup, shaving kids, etc. Seems like a no brainer, as there is lots of space; 2. upgrade needed in dining area! Such a lovely space but very dated. New wall colours, maybe a mural and background music would make a huge difference. Same goes for the fireplace area -- needs a lift. It could be a lovely place for an afternoon drink or snack, as well. The lobby area also needs an upgrade, make it feel more welcoming and maybe a place to sit and relax. None of these changes would present a major capital expense but would definitely make a difference and attract more buisiness.

A nice hotel in the old town. We took a room upgrade which gave us a superb ocean view from the terrace

As it is in the old town parking was a nightmare

The balcony with a view was lovely, and the breakfast was amazing, the highlight of our stay.

We visited in January and I think it was the wrong time of year to stay in this room. It was really cold, and the heating in the AC unit didn't warm the room up, despite being on for hours. I think maybe the room had been empty for a while. But the lovely lady on reception provided us with a mobile heating option, and that helped. There was a smell coming from the bathroom (drains) so we had to put towels under the door to stop it coming into the room. I feel these issues are because of the time of year. It was cold and damp outside.

The light breakfast was good, amazing location. Beautiful views and a 5 minute walk from restaurants

Everyone was very friendly and helpful. Fresh fruit for breakfast and a beautiful view from the balcony

The room didn’t get warm enough. The heater wasn’t strong enough to keep the temperature up. I had to keep the heater in the bathroom running as well. Parking was not available even though it was advertised. My room was on the second floor and no matter what, I had to carry my suitcase at least 6 steps down to the elevator and then again 6 steps up to my room. Not convenient for older people.

    9AnnettePosted on: 12-15-2024

The room view was excellent with a balcony and table and chairs. The room had limited facilities but the staff were eager to help us out like cultery and a cork screw. They also gave us good suggestions for dinner and sightseeing.

Breakfast was okay but due to us visiting in winter the hotel had limited turn over of the buffet breakfast. Maybe in slow times it could be an order system for breakfast.

Perfekt location in the old city

Friendly and helpful staff.Fantastic view over the bay

The location is excellent; the sound of the ocean at night is soothing and makes it easy to fall asleep. A morning walk on the beach energizes and uplifts you for the day. There’s no city noise, which makes the stay even more peaceful. The room was clean and equipped with everything necessary. The breakfast was varied and satisfying. I can only imagine how wonderful it must be to stay here during the summer months.

Breakfast poor, some staff bit miserable

The room was great with a wonderful view of the water. The location was amazing. The hotel was very clean and the breakfast outstanding. Andres was amazing as was his evening staff replacement.

Would have been nice to have had a refrigerator in the room but the staff let me keep my things in the hotel refrigerator.

Room very comfortable and breakfast was good. Staff are fantastic

Our room was very hot and didn't have air-conditioning. The window opened onto the street. As people walked passed all night they were making a big noise so it was difficult to sleep.

We chose this hotel for the view from the balcony over the harbour and ocean and it didn't disappoint. The view, day and night, is stunning and it was lovely to keep the balcony door open at night and listen to the waves below. The hotel is also very centrally located with a number of great restaurants within walking distance.

The streets of Sines are very narrow and when you first arrive it isn't easy to find where to park (although this is actually very close to the hotel). It would be great if the location of the parking (either by What3Words or google) could be sent in advance or put on the hotel website. There is a great spread put on for breakfast but the dining room was very hot. There is a completely unfurnished terrace on the roof of the hotel which could be made into a really lovely place to sit if chairs, umbrellas etc were provided.
