Wifi very poor to unuseable in our room

Family owned business and the staff makes you feel welcome as of the first encounter wiith the receptinist. Also, the staff was very helpful and adapting the best they can to their guests needs. The breakfast was amazing and fresh every morning. Croissants were out of this world. We will definitely book again if we are in the area in the future.

The breakfast and food at restaurant are excellent. Staff very helpful especially in keeping noise down , as we were in a room on the ground floor close to the restaurant.

Maybe a bit more eye contact,especially from the owner, and being la bit less patronizing.

An excellent place to stay in the off-season, at a great price! I asked for a quiet room with string wifi as I had a meeting to attend online. I was given a great room with a great view with excellent wifi. the owner spoke great English and was really helpful. A really safe place to stay, with enclosed gardens for my car. Close to Tropea and there's a supermarket up the road, if you have a car.

I was charged city tax, although Booking.com said that I'd already paid. The cooked breakfast could be slightly better.

Spotlessly clean, traditional family run hotel - beautiful pool area & gardens - lots of sun loungers & places to sit & get shade if needed - friendly helpful staff despite little English spoken - good value family style food & local wine - extensive & plentiful buffet style breakfast - allocated a large family room with terrace overlooking the pool even though we were a couple

The bed was a good size but extremely hard - couldn’t get the AC to work properly but wasn’t always necessary due to time of year so my fault & should have raised the problem - ? I don’t think it was centrally controlled but it was the end of the season & the owners were definitely winding down for closing - the pizza oven was shut down a few nights before the end of our week & the food wasn’t as good after that - they seemed to struggle not doing pizzas but it didn’t ruin our week

Hotel Damanse, is one of the few places around Tropea that offers you everything you need at the most affordable price! Clean rooms, Good breakfast, quiet place! we loved everything about it! We will definitely come back

Clean, good size property, courteous and kind staff, restaurant on the property (breakfast, lunch, dinner), bar, clean beautiful pool, plenty of lounge chairs. Clean room with all the basic amenities, good towels, daily housekeeping

Breakfast hot foods (eggs, sausage, etc) were not replenished frequently. The hotel room needed more electrical outlets (all outlets in the room were used for existing equipment- night lamps, tv, fridge, etc). Needed outlets for our devices (phones etc).

A comfortable spot to stay overnight as we headed south. We didn’t get to use the pool but the restaurant provided some quality food; parking and wife was good and the room spacious

It’s very noisy. We had dogs barking and furniture being moved at midnight and a young child crying at 7 am which normally would not bother us but needs perhaps some better soundproofing.

Affordable stay, just a 10min drive from Tropea centre and the main beaches. Staff were very helpful and friendly

The mattress was a bit hard and the shower a bit small

I didn't see that the pool was still closed. You needed a car or had to walk by the road. Besides everything was perfect!

Clean, staff were attentive and the absence of pets including two parrots

My fault but the pool wasn’t open when we visited. It did clearly state that but I missed it.

Overall, i had a great experience, staff was incredibly helpful, they went over and beyond to help make our stay enjoyable, the room was very clean and wonderful, the breakfast was continental and amazing. Thank you so much for everything

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this charming property. From the owners and their family who run it, to their cheerful and helpful staff, to the beautifully tended grounds and a multitude of potted cactuses, to the condition and cleanliness of the rooms, everything was great.

Wifi poor at times

The property is beautiful, has a very nice and clean swimming pool. I also love the decoration with cactuses spread around.The staff was very friendly and nice, and made us feel home.

Food at breakfast was ok but not amazing.

Very welcoming staff, every effort made to accommodate. Lovely room with bonus of a fridge and large terrace. Beautiful large swimming pool with plenty of beds. Very good breakfast, outside eating area. Lovely well maintained gardens.Shuttle in and out of Tropea in the evenings, extra cost. Stunning beaches very close, but you need a car.

There are no words to describe our experience with this great hotel!!!Although it has 3 stars for some reason, it has service and facilities of 5 stars hotel. And the food…. unbelievable.Don Vincenzo and his staff/family are running this great hotel with a lot of love and care for their guests. There is not one thing that could make me say differently than exceptional 10/10.Thank you very very much for making our holiday so wonderful.
