Basekamp Mountain Budget Hotel

The location is excellent, right beside the lifts. Excellent value for money, clean room, friendly staff, good breakfast.

They kindly let us park in the hotel parking lot before check-in and they also had our room ready very fast. The hotel is located on the ski piste that connects Aineck and Tschanek side of the ski resort and thus, the access to both sides was easy. The quality of the services was very good compared to the price paid, we would definetly book again. Also, the staff was very kind and helpful!

Location. Very close to slopes. Very good breakfast and large rooms. Perfect location for skiing with small kids.

The bar outside was closed this year.

Excellent food, nice waiter in the restaurant, very good location, 'The Cage' is a nice place for bigger children.

Hard to find a parking place and also to park. We booked a room with a bunk bed for the children, but received another type of room with an extra bed. When we complained, they said at the reception, that this room is equal to the one in the reservation, and they are fully booked, it was not possible to change it. They had only 2 feeding chair in the restaurant, but meanwhile there were 3 children, who needed it during our stay. We always had to wait for the main dish at dinner, the buffet was very busy every night.

We smelt cigarette smoke in our room.. I suggest to hotel management to check the ventilation

Location is perfect, literally next to the ski lift ?. Nice, warm room with a lovely bathroom (shower only). 2 of the receptionists were absolutely lovely, they both had blond hair and were exceptional.

Receptionist with dark hair, was rolling her eyes when talking to guests. When she spoke to us, she was a bit arrogant and unpleasant, it definitely put us quite off. On their pages were offered scrambled eggs for breakfast, but we were told not possible to get any kind of eggs except the hard boiled ones, so don't expect nice cooked hot brekky ... False advertising here.No kettle in your room, we really would do with cup of tea during the day or evening.

The place is fantastic - you walk off the door and you can start skiing. The hotel has a big potential. The accomodation is very basic, but clean. The food - breakfast and dinner was delicious - even though the selection was limited, it was really tasty.

The stuff was tired or I don´t know, but anything we wanted more (event sitting after dinner and have a glass of wine) was a big problem . We always had a feeling we should quickly eat or drink and leave, otherwise we cause an unwanted complication. But on the reception the staff was very pleasant. The problem was in the restaurant.

I like the outfit of the rooms which is simple but efficient and spacey. I like the facility location. Breakfast was generally ok, but offering only two sorts of bread is a bit too poor.

I do not like the supper offer. The servings was tasty but only one menu to choose from is not enough for the price. One soup, one main course, one desert is not an offer. If you do not like a specific food or you are not permitted to eat a specific ingredient you are left out of alternative. An example - a regular Thursday menu is a 'street food'. Nothing wrong with this menu choice if there is an alternative. First a burger with fried potatoes is not a street food it is a fast food. That is great for children's taste but not for adults. Adults prefer to have a soup, a pot dish, something cooked with passion in order to have light, good night sleep. An burger I can afford as a snack on ski slopes and it is not apropriate as the only choice for a supper in a hotel.

Perfect position-very near ski pists, fantastic food, clean. very kind all personelle, in the dining room, at the reception, we loved ski room-heated pipes for ski boots, plenty of place to sit, really great.

the room needs 1-2 more chairs or bags to sit on with part for back to lean on.

Food is great. Location is perfect. Rooms are ok.

Wifi is not working

The breakfast was very nice and ritch with a lot of vegetable and fruits and all needed. Jumping arena was also wonderful fun for the kids. There is also good place to sit down in the evening and play cards and other games.

On the contrary the dinner was disappointing. There was only soup, Pasta Bolognese and Kaiserschmarren. As I asked for some salad the employee told me there was not as he believed the food was enough. At the end and maybe after my disappointed face he brought some green leaves.

Disgusting, Very Bad Price Value Rate.

The room was very dirty, the toilet, the towels, the shower, everything. The washbasin was broken. The cabinet was dusty. Dinner was disgusting. There was no choice. There was no truly parking facility. The staff was unfriendly. The price was a great exaggeration for the accommodation. We felt badly.
