Pros +
- The location and view were perfect! It's away from everyone else which makes it quiet and private. The staff is very kind too!
- The place is well thought of, and have everything you need. The staff was incredibly kind and available. We ended up extending by another night, so that should be self explanatory
- Everything! The location of this cabin and the views it offers is absolutely amazing! Cabin offers coffee filters, soap, and dish soap. It also has all the dishes and cooking utensils you’ll need. You could literally stay here all day long without the need to go visit anywhere else. We also enjoyed our daily visits with Sully (our name for the seagull) and waking up to beautiful rainbows! This place is so magical! I only wish we could have stayed longer than 3 days! It was a great way to celebrate our 30th anniversary. Our initial booking back in 2020 was a certain yellow cabin. We tried booking that again for this trip and it was unavailable. We are so glad we ended up at this property instead.
Cons -
- That the views are so beautiful that I didn't want to leave to explore the other parts of the island, haha! :) We had a day of rain, but with views like these, you dont even mind! I do wish the deck was more covered so that we could sit at the picnic table even when raining ;) But, there are absolutely no complaints about this cabin or the area it's in!! My advice is Book It! And stay for as long as you can!!
- Nothing, it was all great.
- The floor boards upstairs are very creaky and loose, and the stairs are narrow and steep. All things I can live with, but are the things that come to mind when asked.

The location is truly spectacular. Right on Reine Fjord, so private but also so close to amenities. Maybe the best accommodations we've ever stayed at in terms of beauty.
Breathtaking location, immaculate property, comfy beds, well-appointed kitchen, excellent communication with manager.
Nothing, it was all great.
The views were exceptional. The location was extremely convenient. We couldn't have asked for better.
The floor boards upstairs are very creaky and loose, and the stairs are narrow and steep. All things I can live with, but are the things that come to mind when asked.
Location is the key. This property is located right beside one of the best view waters in lofoton islands. The private balcony has stunning views and you can fish right at the bottom docks.
I loved all the windows and being on the water.
The master bedroom locks from the outside. Scary
Location, the view from the living room, the deck. That made the stay special.Great to be able to walk to Anita’s and to other rorbuers, especially Eliassen.
There was only one bedside light and nightstand in the bedroom. The kitchen did not have paper towels or napkins.Shampoo and shower soap not supplied. There was no instruction on temperature control. Not much space in bathroom for any items.
This cabin was one of the coolest I’ve ever booked! An old fisherman’s cabin turned cozy rental right over the water. And the view!! Seriously the best view in the whole Reine area! A whole over water deck and the views out the window were just phenomenal. The bed was very comfortable and the room darkening curtains were much appreciated during midnight sun. The area was very quiet even with it being off the main road. We enjoyed having a full kitchen to cook our own meals. Everything was clean and organized.
No paper towels or napkins. There were random people that walked on to our deck at the front of the cabin to take pictures of the mountains. It would be nice if there was a sign saying that the deck is private and for guest use only. These people also were looking at us through the windows - awkward!
Gorgeous views from every window! Speaking of windows, we loved that they opened easily outward, so we could take photos without going outside every time. We got peeks at the aurora borealis the second night between the clouds. Stunning! Good, central location for southern Lofoten with food and grocery store nearby.
Good place to stay and see the Northen Light because of no light pollution surrounded. Good view from the balcony and we saw the Arura without going out from this rorbuer . Good assistance from the staff during no water supply on Toppoy Island caused by heavy strom.
Kitchen was not clean as expected but acceptable.
Exceptional views over the water, really rustic but beautiful interior and everything you might need for a comfortable stay.
A small thing but there's no shampoo or shower soap. We travelled by bus and don't carry these supplies and the weather was too challenging for us to make the walk to the nearest shop.
Great location with great view. Easy access and car park available.
No necessary toiletries provided.
A super cozy apartment with stunning sea view! It’s quiet and warm inside the room, and we loved the private balcony a lot as we could enjoy watching the northern lights every single night!
The rorbu has an incredible breathtaking view. We loved our stay here. The place is comfortable and has equipped kitchen and other amenities. Both Reine and Hamnoy are walkable distance away. The host was also responsive and very helpful when we informed them thay we have a problem with our ferry and its been cancelled due to bad weather. They also gave us an alternative solution and we reached the place at around midnight as we took a ferry from bodo to Stamsund instead of moskenes as we had earlier planned. I would recommend the place to everyone even if it's a bit pricey.
I didn't expect it to be so close to the road. Also they could have kept some books or board games as on snowy or stormy day couples like us without a car or vehicle or families could enjoy. But overall our expectations were met and we enjoyed the place very much.
Awesome place! Great view from the bedroom and balcony. Very spacious for 1, 2, or 3 persons. I was by myself, but there is an extra couch in the dining room if needed. The balcony was the greatest spot for photographing the Aurora, and that tiny island you can use it for other angles of Aurora, but for the landmark mounting in front of you, the balcony is the best - also sunrise, sunset photos of the landmark mountain. Great Lofoten map in the dining room and an amazing old stylish boat hanging from the ceiling in the bedroom are a great bonus!
Needed Paper Towels in the kitchen, advising for a Whisk Broom & Dustpan Set for tiny cleanup, instead of the big vacuum, and, most importantly a Tiny Snow Shovel to cleanup the snow, particularly on the balcony.
We stayed in the cottage and it is absolutely AMAZING ? The view was outstanding and it has everything you would need. Everything needed to cook dinner, wood for the fire, washing machine and clothes rack for drying. Picking up and dropping off key across the road was also very easy.
The property does not have shampoo or conditioner available so it's BYO on that.
It was so comfy, cozy and the views were incredible!!! Like completely incredible! Loved location, coziness, historical presence and closeness to Anita’s sjømat (Seafood).
We loved it but it would be really tough for someone with even minor mobility issues- very steep stairs and low ceilings- not a problem for us though.
Amazing view from the bed room. It's cozy and wonderful music surrounded with room. It's unforgettable time we had in lofoten. Really recommed the hotel to my friends.
