The breakfast was great and the view over the water from the top story was nice. The town is small but the location in the town overlooking the river is very nice.

We stayed here for one night on our way to the Algarve. Driving there was a bit tricky with the narrow, winding roads but the location was perfect. Right in the river with plenty of restaurants to choose from. The best part about our stay was the staff. Louis was there to check us in and he was so kind! We left some clothes behind and the staff called us to let us know! We were able to go back a few days later and retrieve them. Just another example of genuine kindness. Breakfast was great too.

The bed was a little too hard for us and the shower curtain needs replaced. I should have asked for a pillow top or comforter to soften the bed.

Location was easy to find and parking was close. Good value, clean and comfortable. Breakfast buffet was good.

The room was very comfortable, clean and well appointed. The owner was very friendly and helpful.

The Croissants and coffee were excellent but the breakfast was disappointing.

The room was nice and large, great choice of tv channels, the hotel is very quiet and has a fantastic location.

Great location, right on the river front. Our room had a river view which was lovely, especially the view of the bridge lit up at night. Warm welcome from helpful receptionist. Good sized, very clean and neat, room. Comfortable double bed, which is so much nicer than two singles shoved together. We slept well. Really nice to have small outside balcony space, and air con inside. Excellent WiFi. We were lucky to find parking just outside, but I imagine this would be difficult in the summer.  Good selection at breakfast, however, mainly pre-packaged food, no eggs or cooked food; the machine coffee was OK.

We had a small fridge which didn't work very well, but a kettle in the room would have been nice.

Apart from one lovely man we found the staff unhelpful and unfriendly, very very unusual for Portuguese people.

The hotel is very nice and extremely clean. Loved the location, and the people working there. Isabel and Luis were amazing, eager to help and accommodate my requests. Breakfast was good too.Loved the fact that when I got to my room I had two bottles of water and cookies/crackers as a welcome gift. Very nice touch.

I just didn't care for the coffee at breakfast time.

The Hotel entrance is in a little narrow street. Parking was available on the street outside of the hotel and we had no issues finding somewhere to park. Check in went smoothly and the lady doing this bet over backwards to ensure we were welcomed and knew about the hotel. Breakfast was lovely and the room small but more than adequate.

Pillows were very hard and a walk in shower would have been better - bath took up a lot of bathroom space.

Location of hotel is good, but it is a good idea to get a river-facing room.

No area to sit and relax outside of the room. No catering services except for breakfast.

Beautifully clean and comfortable. Very helpful staff. Easy to park. Walk to good restaurants. Has a lift and breakfast. Perfect for our first night in Portugal.

Location and staff. Excellent view at breakfast

The hotel staff was very nice and flexible. We booked two rooms late in the evening without knowing that the check-in closed at 23:30. The hotel staff called us to check when we would arrive, and she waited an extra 30min for us to arrive. The rooms are clean, and one of the rooms had a beautiful view to the river.

The hotel is in the heart of Alcaser do Sal, I don't think you can get any more central. The staff is amazingly helpful, the rooms cozy and nice. The breakfast is a feast, both for your palate and your eyes because you can see the whole panorama of the Sado River and the city from top floor restaurant. A rare place to find and stay!

The rooms might be bigger but then again its the city that you visit, not the hotel :D
