Clean bathroom, comfortable beds, great continental breakfast, efficient and friendly staff. A lovely hotel.

A small, clean hotel and comfy beds. Friendly staff. Nice breakfast.The location was quite good, but because of large construction of roadwork it was a bit demanding to find how to access.

Good food, very clean.

There was no kettle in the room. Very poor road. The lady in blond hair wasn’t very nice. After 10 pm hotel is closed and I didn’t receive the code to open the door

I liked the design, architecture and amount of space.

My bed was broken and I could not sleep for the whole night. The next day (we had 2 nights booked) I asked to be moved to another room and they did it without any questions - thank you :)

Convenient location, but adjacent to the train tracks. Neighborhood was sketchy. Breakfast was very good.

Property was old and a little shabby. One of the two toilets in the apartment didn’t work.

Very kind and helpful staff.Delicious buffet-type breakfast with a large variety of vegetables, cold-cuts, cheese etc. Also several types of strong coffee.

There was a strange smell on the corridor and also in the room - as if not aired properly.

Excellent breakfast /buffet type/. Coffee machine with 8 types of coffee. Self-service. Nice atmosphere in the dining-room.The hotel is located 15 minutes walk from the city centre. The bathroom was clean and everything worked properly.Staff was very friendly and helpful.

I didn't like the fitted carpet in my room at all. It seemed used and dirty. The hotel doesn't look good if you arrive from the train station. It looks a desolate place.

I wont stay here again

Clean in apartment is awful, breakfast is poor for family, mattress is too old, with a huge loud. Hotel is near railway …

The hotel was well situated for the town centre. The buffet breakfast was nice but arranged in the corner of the room causing congestion. The Pinocchio restaurant next door provided lovely freshly made food in the evening as the hotel restaurant wasn't open then.

The room needed refreshing: a new carpet to replace the badly stained one, bedding that fitted the mattress, a leaky shower in need of attention and generally finish off attaching door handles as most were loose. Our room would have benefited from a deep clean, the radiator was filthy and lampshades had cobwebs. We only had the bottled water replenished once during the week. Fresh towels and toilet rolls were only delivered the day before we left. The bedding wasn't changed during our one week stay. A bit more attention to detail would lift the hotel out of the doldrums. It's all fixable!

Not much. Nothing, really.

There was a loud party in the canteen when I arrived and lasted until 2am. Beds are very soft. Room was poorly ventilated and stuffy in the morning. location is close to busy street and rail tracks so not particularly quiet. Shower gel was useless and there was no bottled water in room. Had two night booked, gave up after first one.

Location, friendly staff and breakfast.

This is an honest hotel with lovely staff who speak good English. The rooms are quite basic but very clean with a good shower room. Breakfast was simple but very adequate There are parking spaces at the back of the hotel. . We very much enjoyed our stay.here.

Lack of tea making facilities.

They share the building with a restaurant that served good pizza - and it was a budget hotel, don't expect any luxury but they had everything I needed. Parking, a bed, bathroom and a key to lock the door.

Very friendly and accommodating staff, excellent meals prepared on premises.

Less than ideal road condition leading to facility.

It was satisfying for our stay, close to everyting. We missed a refrigator in the rooms for cold drinks.

The smell. In one of our rooms was a smell that wasn't that apeeling like from mold and in the other one there was smell of cigarettsmoke when we turned the light on in the bathroom and the fan started.

The Location is in the center of the city and only 5-10 min. walk from the main train station. It is though hard to find without a GPS system as it is a hidden house of the main road. But other then that it is ABESULUTELY value for money. The staff is great and helpful, the breakfast is delish and freash and the rooms are very funktional and comfy. Not to mention that the size of the bedroom completely surpassed my expectations compared to the prize. I stayed at Hotel Zamkowy the lasts times I was there but as the hotel was fully booked I ended up at Hotel Portus. I am very greatful that that happened and WILL be staying with them again in the future. It is GREAT vallue for money. They have ALL the facilities (including free parking) that you may need and are very helpfull if you have any questions.

If you are walking impaired keep in mind that this hotel is placed in a rough terain and you will need transport. But the staff is VERY helpful with this. Also, because of the prize, I was staying next door to some roughdy teenagers who felt it nessecary to party-hardy all night long. But that is to be expected :-) Thankfully I am NOT a light sleeper :-) And the hotel MORE THEN makes up for laud teenagers with the FANTASTIK coffee and breakfast.
