- Amazing hotel, gorgeous views, clean rooms, delicious food, friendly staff, private beach, swimming pool.
Cons -
- The food in general was just ok or ill prepared. However, the fresh bread in the morning was the very best bread I have ever had in my life.
- Driving into this hotel was no easy task as it is located on the side of a cliff but well worth the effort once we arrived. We had 2 rooms one of which was a single and very very small.
- I didn’t like that it wasn’t near any towns. You needed to o take a taxi everywhere

This hotel is absolutely stunning! Fabulous view, delicious food, amazing staff and lovely rooms truly make this hotel very special.

It was clean, loved everything about it.

Incredible room with a view. Staff were amazing. Great location to Ravello and Amalfi.
Excellent (dinner) restaurant with very friendly staff, access to sea and very friendly staff at terrace near sea.
We paid around 850 euro per night for which one expects a very decent room and related services (and which is even a higher price than a perfect 5 star hotel in Sorrento). Fact is that Marmorata hotel has mostly much cheaper rooms and the whole related service and food (breakfast) is linked with the cheaper, average approach. Our room was spacious but most of the space goes into a useless part; switching on airco increased the high humidity (of which fungi on the ceiling were the witness), inside cupboards the humidity continues resulting in bad smell of clothes; aunts on cupboard (for which we were told not to leave food behind), and the furniture is looking Ikea cheap while the sofa had dirty stains. From the pictures one expects another room and eg a marquise or at least a sun umbrella on the small balcony. Nothing there and staff reacted surprised when I flagged this. Breakfast (even no fresh juice) is average.
We were sad to leave, we had the most wonderful stay!! The hotel is beautiful, good food, large breakfast assortment (including gluten free), staff is very kind & the pool/ocean side is relaxing with beautiful views. The shuttle service was great & just short rides into town.We stayed for our honeymoon & would 100% recommend!
Everything was perfect, friendly, helpful staff, location, hygiene, food restourant’s view. If we come again, we are here again
Beautiful hotel, well laid out. We had the single room with sea view and we had a crib in our room for the baby. Wish the room was a tab bit larger. The breakfast and location to eat breakfast was my favourite way to start the day. The fact that you can swim in the ocean was amazing and close to the waterfall. The decorations in the hotel were so beautiful! Everyone was so friendly to our 7 month old baby. Love that they give you flip flops for your stay. Ivan the bartender is awesome. Also glad it had elevator to ensure it was mostly accessible within the hotel with the baby.
Wish there was better drink service at the pool and loungers. You had to go up to get a drink. The pool was okay for us and the baby.. it’s not big. We had dinner on site at the fancier restaurant and it was not worth it at all. I also wished the location was walkable to a few things so if you want something where you can walk somewhere for dinner or lunch etc this is not the hotel for you. You must take one of the shuttles the hotel offers or taxi.
The beach, breakfast and staff were lovely
Rooms were dated, some had damp, bathrooms had some hair from previous guest and mold in the shower
The hotel staff was outstanding. The bistro food is delicious and breakfast meets all the possible dietary requirements with exceptional quality
The lack of air conditioning in the changing room by the pool. It was lovely that we were allowed to use the facilities in the hotel on the day we checked out, it really appreciated, but the heat in the changing room was unbearable.
The apartment was stunning, incredible views
Walking distance to the pool on a main road, poor attitude from staff on WhatsApp
We stayed in the luxury apartment which is separate from the main hotel and is a walk along the main road (not a problem with older children/teenagers) The apartment was beautiful (the pictures don’t do it justice) with views over the sea.The beach club area was great and the staff always made space even if it looked busy.Jumping into the sea here is a highlight. Don’t miss the freshwater waterfall just round the corner (left when facing the hotel from the sea)We did 2 excellent trips organised by the reception staff- a private boat trip along the coast and a trip to Pompeii. Reception staff were always very helpful and friendly
Limited restaurants in walking distance. Pizza place outside the hotel was poor. There are transfers to local towns and also public buses passing just outside the hotel however.
Loved the beach and water fallAccess
A slight walk to the luxury apartment but totally fine if you are in good health
We stayed in the Charming apartment annexed to the hotel. It was lovely, although it was 40 degrees while we were there so walking to the hotel was hot. We loved having the space of the apartment and being able to use the fabulous swimming facilities of the hotel.
We thought the restaurant was a little expensive and the menu a little limited.
We stayed at the boutique apartment and it was absolutely beautiful. Very comfortable facilities, big terrace with great view of the sea, great beach club with nice little pool that was perfect for kids and great restaurant. We had private parking it was very comfortable.
This hotel is just like heaven (I hope: ). Our stay was absolutely marvelous! Best views of Ravelllo coast. Very attractive receptionist and great lifeguards at the pool. Complimentary shuttle services to Amalfi, Villa Rufolo and the beach of Maiori and Atrani.Excellent breakfast .Very comfortable beds.
Air conditioning could be improved (room 203).
Fabulous location - just the right distance away from some of the busy towns of the Amalfi Coast, particularly during Summer holidays to make it still feel peaceful and relaxed but close enough to easily get to places and the ferry from Minori. The private beach club and sea swimming area provided by the hotel were fantastic.
We stayed in the apartments which are approximately 500 metres from the main hotel, there is no pedestrian path along the side of the road and so residents must either walk on the side of the road (busy during our stay in July/August) or use the complimentary shuttle service provided by the hotel. This wasn’t a problem for us but you should be aware.
Amazing apartment with fantastic view !!! Worth to go with big family ! Good kitchen with all utensils available …. The beach was incredible !
Overpriced , both accommodation as the food
