    Pros +

    • This hotel is exceptional! The food, the views, the staff, and the details of the property were incredible. The pool and lounge area felt quiet and relaxing. The staff waits on you hand and foot. The Michelin star restaurant on the property was delicious, and they make it a whole experience. The location is ideal because you are walking distance to the town square. Ravello in general is a hidden gem, not too touristy, which I loved, and not too crowded. I loved every minute of it!
    • Palazzo Avino is heaven on earth - stunning decor, fantastic food, attentive staff and breathtaking views.
    • The views and garden are amazing and also the beach club.

    Cons -

    • We booked the most basic room since the property is quite expensive. The room was nothing special but the bed was very comfortable and the amenities in the bathroom had everything you would need. The directions to the hotel are confusing if you are driving. Just call the front desk and they will help.
    • There’s nothing not to love!
    • During the reservation process i saw that there were no photos of the room i selected. I even asked via e-mail for some pictures but aparently they don't have any for the mountain side standard room. It was indeed very small and crowded with a super small window and if i had seen some pictures maybe i would have chosen someting else. Overall the room was fine but i think pictures should exist with every type of room they have.

    Views from restaurants. Service. Breakfast

    Room very small

    10GaylePosted on: 10-11-2024

Great selection of breakfast items, including gluten-free options available on a terrace overlooking the Amalfi coast.

This is a wonderful hotel with a wonderful staff. Only one thing, I would have liked to have more gluten-free options on lunch/dinner menu.

The location is beautiful. Great view and very good service.

Room was small and the bathroom had only tub and no independent shower. No tea in the room. Breakfast should have had more variety of fruit or organic seeds… we would expect more for the level of the hotel.

The hotel team truly exceeded our expectations, providing an exceptional experience from start to finish. Though we only had one day left before our return, we found ourselves wishing for a few more days to fully immerse in the beauty of this place. We are certain to return in the future. Our day began with a workout at the open air gym, which offers breathtaking views of the Amalfi coast, followed by a flawless breakfast. The afternoon was spent lounging by the garden pool, and we ended the day watching the sunset from the rooftop pool. A visit to the clubhouse next day, just 20 minutes from the hotel, allowed us to unwind on an exquisite beach. Overall, everything was superb and meticulously designed for a memorable stay

The room was not particularly spacious, but it was satisfactory, offering a pleasant view of the medieval town with the forest in the background—certainly nothing to complain about. However, the hotel’s facilities were so exceptional that the room itself became a minor detail in the overall experience.

Fantastic hotel! Great mountain views, and we loved the pool and beach club area. We also loved the Rossellinis restaurant, we had an exceptional tasting menu (albeit on the pricey side). Service was top notch.

    Nothing to add!

Nice stay, food in terrace restaurant very pricey and quite average. Breakfast however was good. Room quite dark as we

Found it hard to get sun loungers both at hotel and beach club .. had to sit in deck chairs at hotel which was a little disappointing given the money we spent on a five star hotel

Our suite very dark. It felt a little dingy. But very nice

The property is in a beautiful iconic location. We opted for a sea view, which would have been stunning had the weather been a little better. The grounds are beautifully kept, and overall, the property has a very luxurious feel. The presentation of the soap, shampoo, slippers, towels, luxury linens and bottle of Prosecco contributed to the luxurious feel of this property. The staff is very friendly, helpful, and accommodating.

The room and bathroom were much smaller than the Sorrento 5 star hotel we had stayed in. The bathroom was too small for two people, and the shower was uncomfortably tiny. Our Terrace dinner was not very good and thus our meal felt over priced. As an American, the absence of coffee in our room was frustrating (but in fairness to this hotel, that was typical of our stays in Italy.) Due to the age and history of Ravello, there were lots of steps from the hotel to the village below, which we powered through, but the terrain could have been difficult for many people, especially seniors. Wish I had been able to contact the hotel directly with questions rather than working through Booking.com. Use [email protected].

Booked a room with a Mountain View only to find out that my view was of a building smacked in front of our window.

    10SamanthaPosted on: 10-2-2023

This hotel is incredible. Every detail as you walk around is so beautiful and well thought out. I loved how easy it was to get a chair by the pool and it was never crowded. My only regret is that I wish I had more time here because of how amazing everything was. It was so relaxing and the views are truly unbeatable

    9CaitlinPosted on: 8-9-2023

The main attraction of this hotel is the private beach club with free transportation to and from. Without this aspect, IMO, staying here wouldn’t be worth the price. The beach club definitely made all the difference and I would stay here again if I were in Ravello.

View from the restaurant and pool, cocktail bar

Staff, the room, the bathroom, the view from the room, staffs will to fix common problems

    10BethPosted on: 5-22-2023

EVERYTHING about this hotel was spectacular--the room, the view, the grounds, the service, the pool and the breakfast! It's on the pricey side but worth it (and you can save money on food by eating off-site for lunch and dinner).

    8SorinaPosted on: 10-19-2022

    Location, beauty, comfort.

The art was surprisingly tacky and loud for such a beautiful hotel and made it seem glitzy and cheapened the ambience. The room service coffee was undrinkable.
