Clean hotel and comfortable room. Friendly staff and decent breakfast .

The rooms at Hotel Alpenhof perfectly blend classic charm with modern comfort. While the hotel has an old-style design, everything is impeccably maintained and feels fresh. The rooms are spacious, cozy, and beautifully decorated, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere.We especially loved the romantic ambiance, with soft lighting and a stunning mountain view that made the stay even more special. The beds were comfortable, but they were two separate beds pushed together. It would be even better if the double rooms had a proper one-piece mattress for extra comfort.Everything was spotlessly clean, and all amenities were well-thought-out. Whether for a romantic getaway or a ski trip, the rooms offer great value for the price. We would definitely stay here again

Very helpful and friendly staff. We had a standard double room which was spacious, modern and clean with a lovely view. The balcony was nice.Breakfast was good, plenty of it. A wider range of cooked options would have been nice.The restaurant was lovely, nice varied menu with good straightforward options, child friendly.

Everythibg was great apart from the Public toilets on the ground floor were rather odd as were not segregated for male and female, within one room there were 3 cubicles all open to top and bottom of walls, 2 for men and 1 for women. This gave no privacy and felt exceptionally uncomfortable as a woman. If I had gone in and there was a man already using them I would have not wanted to use them, and equally if I was using one and a man had come in I would have felt uncomfortable and exposed and fearful.

It was my 2nd stay there, and I came because the 1st time was great. Patrick from reception is so friendly, helpful and assisting! We had a great dinner in the hotel's restaurant and the breakfast is also very good. The room was big with great mountain view.

Since there's no Aircon, we slept with an open window, Every hour through the night the church bell across the street woke us up, and at 7AM - a full orchestrated melody... I know it's not the hotel's fault, but something has to be done with this. The TV is at the size of a computer monitor...

The staffs are very helpful trying to accommodate our needs.. Food is very great and Breakfast has good variety. Bed is comfortable for me (165cm) but it is too small for my 187cm Colleague. Great value for Money and it is so close to the ski lift.

The church bell that ring every hour until 11pm especially when you have to open the window. But I am also a quiet sleeper so it disturbed my sleep.

Hotel is situated close to the church, where for some reason the bells ring not only before the mass, but every hour (also during the night).

not really not like, the blind in the bedroom was a bit old and I was afraid to break it, so had the morning light at 5 am in my face. I was there for work so nothing better than an early start.

The staff at the hotel are very friendly, caring and pleasant! ;)--We rested with friends, so we booked 2 rooms with the same price, but since we had a child, we were provided with a large room with panoramic mountain views on the top floor, 4th (there was an elevator :) )--We stayed for the New Years and also booked a festive dinner, it was very good and delicious with a musical program.The restaurant in Hotel has a good menu and a variety of festive evenings, one evening there was Fundu.--Ski rental and ski lift 2-3 minutes from the main entrance to the hotel.--If you want to go to Zermat, it will take 1 hour by car to the village of Täsch and then by train 15 minutes.Without a car, just across the street from the hotel there is a lift that will take you down to the city and from there you can take a bus to the station (2 minutes or on foot) and from the station by train to Zermat.--Wir haben unseren Aufenthalt in diesem Hotel und in der Schweiz im Allgemeinen sehr genossen,Liebe Grüße von der GOA family

Rather, this is a wish, not a remark: you can put a kettle and a small set of coffee-tea (but in any case, you can order tea for 5 francs in a restaurant)

Absolutely nothing .

There are a few issues I encountered with the hotel . I have booked for 7 nights at the hotel, I haved showed my negative PCR , and they told me that the breakfast I had to have it in my room which was very uncomfortable . There wasn’t even room service , to offer to bring my breakfast to myself . I had to make a trip up and down every time I needed something . Not only that , the first night I have arrived I wanted to get dinner , IN MY ROOM as I had no other choice and they told me they don’t do it but I should take it as a favour . So i requested to get dinner , to pay for it and have it in my room and they said they wouldn’t do it but I should consider it as a favour . Hugely disappointed especially that I have spend alot for 1 week in this hotel . The staff aswell were very cheeky and rude to us everytime we would get in contact with them . Would never recommend this Hotel to my family or friends .

The staff is very helpful and friendly, especially Mr. Huber and Miss Huber. Parking is very conveient. Location is great, nearby the cable car station. But I hope there would be more vegetables for breakfast
