Charming hotel with a great pool and large, pretty gardens. Perfect for Alentejo summer. Rooms were large and beds comfortable. We had a lovely little garden terrace outside our room. The air conditioning was also really quiet, which is always a bonus. The breakfast is also very good. It is on the edge of town, so plenty of restaurants within walking distance. The staff were all very nice and helpful.

For such comfortable rooms, they had really terrible pillows.

We loved the location - the pool and gardens are an oasis of tranquility. The staff were amazing - very welcoming, friendly, helpful and accommodating. We were quite impressed by the quality of the food in the restaurant at dinner, even if the selection was a little limited.

The rooms were rather darker than shown in the photos, because of the trees in front of the windows. Although the staff who did serve us were great, the hotel felt understaffed, needing more capacity in the restaurant, bar and housekeeping areas to maintain the quality of service.

Quiet Location, spacious rooms, fast WiFi connection, plenty of parking and excellent buffet breakfast. The aircon worked well for central heating that was needed and it was quiet. There's even a pool and a lovely big lounge with a fireplace. Short walk into the main square, plenty of restaurants and cafes. Short drive to Elvas for the morning and 15 mins away from a vineyard for wine tasting... We've stayed here many times and will continue to return!

No walk-in showers and the shower head is too small to accommodate the power shower pressure so it is easy to wet the whole bathroom!! The beds were a little too hard for me but comfortable for my husband.

When I got to My room the window to a balcony was open (22:10) and the air condicioned was off and didn’t work!Inadmissível!

A bit old and not that clean

charming hotel in ideal location, beautiful views from the patio. Short walking distance until centre of town, full breakfast.

Room was a little soulless, could do with some wall decoration.

Close to everything in town. Free parking. Nice breakfast.

Most people didn't speak any English whatsoever so hard to communicate.

Its location was great, in the centre of town. Room was big.

It was a bit dated, needs renovating. No view from room. There was no information in room or reception on things to do or suggestions for restaurants.

The evening meal was not great . Pieces of pork with crisps ! Overpriced also .

I loved the familiarity of the place. The house, the pool and the garden were very well aligned and I was able to rest!

I believe that the food, regarding the restaurant for lunch and dinner could have more modern options.

Lovely hotel, great pool, sweet location, plenty or parking.
