The spa was really great and the whole tour of the location was amazing

The breakfast was okay but it closes early. The room had so many flies it was comfortable but we spent an hour killing flies to be able to sleep

The staff is extremely kind and helpful and the place is very beautiful. Breakfast was also great. The bed is comfortable and huge and it is very quiet all around the place, so we got some quality sleep. It was an overall very lovely experience!

The only thing that was a bit uncomfortable was the shower. Once you open hot water it starts making a high pitched sound, kind of like a whistle. And the longer you keep it open, the louder the sound gets. We had to close it several times, as sometimes it felt like a pipe was going to explode. It is a minor detail, because the hotel is great overall, but I love a relaxing shower and it was anything but relaxing.The road to get to our bedroom further away from the main building by car could also use some mending.

Swimming pools are great to relax. Beautiful garden with olive trees.

The room was dirty. There were dead bugs, a lot of dust (over the phone, inside the amenities box, on the coasters) and spider webs on the bedroom ceiling. Besides that, part of the wall was falling apart. Breakfast was just ok.

Air conditioning was not effective enough, considering location of hotel, right in the middle of Alentejo.

They should have more adapted rooms. They only had one, which I booked two months in advance only to arrive and be told it wasn’t available. The staff tried to help but still if you’re using a wheelchair it’s much easier to have an adapted room. Same for the access to the rooms that could easily be adapted to be more wheelchair accessible

The rooms were not clearly specified in the booking if in the main house or bungalows; the room had a very small bathroom, with no door or privacy. The gel douche was stuck on the wall and unreachable from the shower

Cuoboard door in bedroom opened only partly due to the large king-size bed. Consequently three drawers could not open at all.Third (sofa)bed was not present in the room, but we did not need it.

They surprisingly put us in an adjacent building about 5 minutes walk along an unlit (at night) path from the main building/restaurant/spa. We asked if we could stay in the main building even if we paid more, but they said they were full. Reception seemed to have lots of staff but not very helpful. Given that it was raining heavily, we asked to borrow an umbrella , but they said they had run out. The room is in dire need of an update. Mattress is creaky and very uncomfortable. Towels and rugs so old they were a bit ragged.Room cleaned on “express” mode: bathroom and sheets changed. Bathroom door is a sliding door which came off, and the door does not seal or lock so little privacy. Restaurant was expensive and the buffet did not impress. Bar was in the restaurant. It would be better to have a separate bar.Apart from the beautiful location, the indoor swimming pool is the about the only thing which lived up to expectations, but it is a family hotel and the echoing of noise from children playing in the main pool made it impossible for us to relax. It would really benefit from having a separate kids pool.

The staff were super nice, and the location is incredible for a few days of peace and quiet. It was very moving to see the love of the falconry staff, as well as the people who train the horses. We did a visit to both places, and a little horse carriage tour and it was priceless

The two less positive points was that the bathroom door didn't fully slide until the end (meaning it didn't fully close), and the SPA got too busy on one evening (the weather wasn't good). The SPA lockers are too small, and if there's isn't enough free space, people shouldn't be allowed to keep going in. When a SPA is that crowded, it is no longer a quiet and relaxing place...

Jacuzzi were cold water.Inside pool were cold water as well.Spa experience didn't was a relax time...

The staff is very attentive and the place is beautiful.The restaurant has a good valeu for money. The spa is ok, but could have warmer pools during the winter.

No internal connection from rooms to spa. On a rainy and cold day you need to go out with an umbrella and jackets out of a place of 20+ degrees (SPA) to one with 5 degrees (open space) to get to your room.

Lots of flies . The worst was seeing all the flies on the food at the beautiful restaurant on the premises. Also a lot of flies while trying to get sleep at night

the room was great although we asked for separate bedroom and eventually it wasn’t, the stuff were sorry about it and enable us to do a late checkout. the hotel is really unique, and great breakfast

the horse baptism for the kids was a bit of a waste, super short and not really exciting

Sewage smell in pool area and rooms, bees in the pool area, breakfast very basic and repetitive, room with visible signs of wear, no courtesy water bottle daily offered and ridiculous beverage overpriced specially the water bottles. Much to improve towards costumer focused satisfaction

Quiet. In the middle of the countryside. Very hospitable and helpful staff. Excellent breakfast. Excellent family hotel with good swimming pools.

The Bathroom was surrounded by see through glass which is difficult when you are travelling with your daughter in law. The free water and coffee were only given on arrival rather than daily which was a bit stingy.
