Hotel Fjordkroen

Very nice hotel with good location and outstanding restaurant (one of our best restaurant experiences ever!)

On arrival I received a free upgrade to my room with beautiful views onto the water. The food was outstanding and staff was very welcoming and friendly. I have had the best stay here on my travels through Denmark for work. Highly recommended! Thank you.

Hotel Fjordkroen was a beautiful gem on our roadtrip. The hotel is family owned and the staff is fantastic; so kind and welcoming, it made our stay extra special. The rooms were quaint and the views were amazing. How lovely to wake up with a view of the sea!The restaurant was equally excellent in terms.of quality, whether at dinner time or at breakfast.Highly recommend staying here, you will not regret it!

The staff were friendly and helpful. The location was good. The food was amazing.

The room was pretty small and the decor was tired. We were in room 1 which meant that there were lots of people walking past us.

Food was very expensive for something very classic (while good)the shared bathroom, it's not a major issue, but several rooms share the same bathroom that is also the toilet, not really practical.We were told by the receptionist that the breakfast started at 6:30, but when we came at that time and learn it is actually starting at 8 we were not really welcomed. Honest mistake I'm sure and not a big problem again, as we had planned to leave at 7 we just checked out, but would have been nice to offer at least a coffee...

If I were picky the road outside could get busy,but that is not the hotels fault. Everything else fine.

Staff was friendly and welcoming, the view on the sea is indeed very nice and the garden just outside the rooms is nice and tidy.

Breakfast was ok, but lacked variety, e.g., no cereals, no bacon, no scrambled eggs; non-coffee drinkers have a selection of a few kinds of tea, but are not offered hot chocolate or the like.In the room, everything seemed old and used, there where some spots of mold in the bathroom, and the towel dryer should really be repainted or replaced. Also, the hose on the shower head was starting to fall apart.

Good breakfast and good strong coffee. Excellent dinner and service.

Strategic location if you plan to pit stop some where nice on your way towards Copenhagen as it’s quite in the middle of Vordingborg and Nædtved

Everything was great actually, just that the room is quite compact but I guess it’s okay since we didn’t spend much time in the room

Very nice location and excellent food at dinner and breakfast. Room was clean.

Room was small with basic furnishing. Hard to get hot water in the morning.

Disappointing

They charged me for a bigger room, and they had to give me the difference in cash.The hotel room was quite expensive to get a very small room with a shared bathroom.

Location is picturesque and free parking is great

There was mold in the bathroom, hotel itself really needs a lift. Worst part were the breakfast

Very clean. Location with view right over the fjord. Cozy and a bit quirky. The owner gave us a wine holder for our champagne we brought to celebrate or anniversary!

All was good.

The room had a lovely view and outdoor seating,The evening meal and breakfast were more than adequate, There was good of road parking for motorcycles and cars.

Well, if I was being picky, our room was getting a little tied round the edges. But not complaining it was very clean and comfortable.
