Splendido Mare, A Belmond Hotel, Portofino

Great location.

Extremely small suite. My suite and the food were extremely overpriced.

Convenience of location, the staff was amazing, the food spectacular Beautiful rooms and views with balcony. Also great showers

Our friends and family loved this place

Very luxurious beautiful facility. The room are amazing and the amenities are extraordinary. Delicious food, great location and very nice helpful staff. We loved it very much.

Location, decor, comfort, friendly staff, breakfast.

Cost and having to pay for parking which I had not anticipated.

Everything was perfect! The decor, the staff and the location

location , stuff and view

The food is really bad and expensive

very pleasant except for pool disappointment

we reserved this location as it said it had a pool available when we made the reservation but when we got there, the pool at the main Splendido hotel was said to be closed. That was a disappointment as a pool was important to us. otherwise , the room was upgraded and the staff were very pleasant .

Wonderful hotel with great view amazing staff Great break fast

The hotel is absolutely amazing, in such a beautiful location in Portofino!the concierge was just sooo helpful and professional, especially Nicola was just superb !

nothing at all.

Great location in the centre of town and right across the port - a lot more convenient than Splendido’s location in the hills. The staff is so helpful and friendly, and very attentive to every guest. Really made our stay feel personalised. The hotel itself is cosy and stylish, the rooms are spacious, and not to mention the wonderful terrace restaurants.

Absolutely no complaints there. The staff will help with your luggage from the taxi stop down to the hotel and everything can be taken care of.

The standard of the fixtures and fittings were exceptional. This contributed to the air of quality and exclusivity provided throughout the hotel. You can’t beat quality and this hotel has it in abundance.

The complementary wine was un-necessary and not very nice. Would have been better without this provision,in my view. Others may love it.

location and staff. So polite, friendly and welcoming. very attentive and superb service. can’t speak highly enough of them!

expensive but quality all round

location and Portofino is magical

Michaela the Hotel Manager is a superb host

Hotel's location is perfect. Staff were amazingly hospitable and friendly. Breakfast was superb. Valet service was extremely useful and convenient. I have only good things to say about our stay at the Splendido Mare hotel.

Very lovely boutique hotel perfectly located on the harbour of Portofino.

Great location. Personal attitude makes you fill like home.Ask to book a lunch with great view at sisters hotel.

50 ferraris made a traffic jam.

Great old style comfortVery friendly and helpful staffWonderful location

Niets

It's the best hotel in the town of Portofino with beau yet small rooms. Great restaurant downstairs and staff were nice and helpful.

Very cramped and rooms are tiny for the price you pay. On my visit I stayed at both Splendido Mare and Splendido at the upper side to try both and I can say that the larger Splendido on the hill is a much nicer and spacious option with better views in my opinion.

Location

Too many stairs, no pool or beach at the property, too expensive for what it is

It was perfect, the balcony suite had splendid views of the Marina and the sunrise. The room had the hair straightener, which is super rare for any hotel! The people, who assisted us throughout our stay, exceeded our expectations and were super nice. We felt comforted and welcomed as a part of a family! Will come again for sure :)
