Amazing service and location

With the discount we definitely got the worst room in the house. For $--- A night there should be no bad rooms.

The location is amazing and the staff were delightful. Breakfasts on the terrace are very special.

This is by far the most expensive hotel I have ever stayed in and the pool was very disappointing. It is salt water with added chlorine and was 32C, i.e. too hot, when we stayed. Swimming in the pool should have been really enjoyable but it was actually unpleasant. Quite a few of the mosaic tiles had fallen off. The pool is badly overdue a major overhaul which is not what I expect given the price we paid.

The buffet breakfast was great and of course the location is beautiful.. All staff are efficient,friendly and helpful.We loved the welcome package.We always enjoy Vladimir and his music.

The only minor disappointment was the eggs at breakfast.. Eggs Benedict and the omelet with gamberi.

Was very expensive but faultless service - excellent trained staff cost money. some drink items seemed excessively overpriced.Evening meal in main restaurant the food was a little disappointing but great service and wonderful views. The entertainment seemed very dated and a little depressing at times, but perhaps it was based on legacy and aimed at a different age group. more blues type- or Madeleine Peyroux would be good rather than Liberace style (only my opinion though!)

The Hotel was beautifully decorated and the facilities very special. Breakfast was available either in the Dining Room or on the Terrace which overlooks the bay of Portofino. I was able to swim in the fabulous pool on two out the four days of my four day stay which was great. The staff gave excellent Customer Service and were always very helpful and caring.

We loved everything. Surprised my partner and we both had the most magical time. Our room had a sea view which made it extra special. Every single person working at the hotel is professional, friendly and can’t do enough for you. Loved the location, views, room, staff and, of course, the breakfast. Best ever! The only place to stay when in Portofino.

Having to leave.Or even the rain could dampen your stay here.

In all honesty this hotel is fantastic. We received an upgrade on arrival as we were celebrating our engagement and got a room with sea view. The facilities are top notch. Staff including concierge service is outstanding - Its been some time since I have been in such a high quality hotel. Many hotels rank as 5* but service sometimes is not as outstanding. Here everything seems to flow seamlessly. Concierge made reservations every night for us in Portofino and managed to get us table even when places seemed fully booked. I cant wait to go back. Its an excellent Hotel to relax in and spend some proper quality time alone or with your partner. The view amazing!

Amazing staff. Great food. Wonderful views and impeccable grounds/gardens. Super posh. Very expensive but feels very exclusive.

We chose a terrace with ocean view room. Unfortunately, the bar, La Terrazza's band played directly below us very late into the night which made it difficult to sleep. If you're a light sleeper, like were are, I would reconsider this hotel or try to find a room further away from the music.

Breakfast selection was excellent with a view from the restaurant breakfast table that would brighten anybodies day .The concierge particularly Luca Chiesa ( head concierge ) offered the best service i have experienced .

It would of been nice if more complimentary water was provided in the room .Also a larger selection of beers

I stayed at the La Dolce Vita which Is the biggest room they offered and it felt really small in my opinion. I believe the property is overpriced for what they offer.

Full of flowers, with a great taste absolutely stylish hotel. High class service - everywhere at reception restaurant pool (pool is wonderful with the sea salt) !

Staff was rude ,waiting time for the luggage on the way back was very long ,despite that fact that it was just standing near our car. On check in the receptionist after the rooming was demonstratively waiting for tips. Also when I called to bring shaving kit by mistake called room service cuz I didn’t know where to call and they sad “it’s wrong number” what I believe not really professional instead of just re direct my call

Just a but old room, television, bathroom etc. for that price i would expect a better standard.
