    Pros +

    • It has good size bedroom and bathroom, a beautiful dining room with an excellent menu and helpful staff. Parking worked fine.
    • Great location, spacious room, comfortable bed and very helpful staff. Many restaurants near by, it's a quiet hotel. Bus station is a few minutes walk away and you can also rent a bike from the near by museum. Easy to get around. The room was nice and clean
    • Great position in a beautiful quiet town. The restaurant served fabulous local fish dishes and a large range of Italian wines

    Cons -

    • The breakfast can be improved (especially if you prefer salty breakfast).
    • Bathroom : worn out, requires renovation (mold on the shower tube).Balcony : the only view was cramped onto the back side of other old buildings, not nice at all to see.Dinner outside on the barch: even though we were staying in the hotel we could not have our dinner on their own barch in front of the hotel (which was why we booked there!) as they had accepted so many reservations beforehand that we could not get a table! At no point in time did they ask us beforehand (just after booking or in any other communication, or not even at check-in) if we were interested in a reservation for the dinner.Breakfast: requires pre-ordering at latest by 19.00 h the night before. Even though we did so, there was something missing in our order so they had to call in the delivery service and we had to wait for the breakfast to be complete. This situation did not put a smile on the waiter's face...Upon checkout we were charged double the price for our small dog as they used the price for a 10-20kg dog (being 20 euros instead of 10). When I complained about it, they gave in but also here not with a smile or even an apology...All in all most of the personnel seemed to perform a job they don't really like doing. A few smiles would have made a lot of difference.
    • Sometimes running out of hot water. Running out of everything at the breakfast.

A beautiful hotel with authentic rooms in a historic building in the centre of the town. It counts with a restaurant serving typical Comacchio dishes (lunch and dinner). The AC in the room is good and silent.

The breakfast can be improved (especially if you prefer salty breakfast).

The room was nice but the balcony (without a view) was a desillusion and a booking.com tourist trap...

Perfect locations in the heart of the old town , very friendly great food would like to recommend something but it was all excellent. Knowledgeable staff

Normally we don’t have breakfast , but breakfast was included. You need to order what you want from the continental breakfast the night before , which was a bit strange . But coffee was good . Fruit is mix fruit in a bowl

The location was great and the owner was very nicer and helpful

The breakfast was poor, the air-conditioning was very noisy and the rooms were small. The shower in the bathroom was extremely small.

Lovely town, full of canals and the restaurant is right on the side, lots of unusual fish dishes.

    9ArnePosted on: 5-19-2024

A good location by a canal. The staff is friendly and helpful. Nice breakfast. A very good restaurant.

Excellent location for the town centre. Very clean and spacious room ,Breakfast was good . I highly recommend the restaurant it's extremely good.

Nothing much to note but arriving with heavy cases isn't ideal since the town centre isn't really accessible. even so, it's a relatively short walk from the free car park.

Excellent breakfast made to order. Nice and very well educated/gentle waiter for breakfast.

No a/c throughout the hotel as well as in the room. Slept few hours only due to noisy guests eating on the ground floor till almost 1am.Pretty rude restaurant waiter. The girl instead was very gentle. The meal was not what expected in terms of price/quantity/assortment. Some fish was full of bones and difficult to clean and eat; waiters should have offered the option to serve the fish boneless. Parking: not on site. Need to walk with luggage about 300m from a public/uncovered open to the hotel.

    Position.

What ruined this property was the women who we think is the owner who was based at the reception. We arrived at reception 10 minutes before 3pm and were totally ignored- actually treated with disdain. Furthermore the property lists that it has air conditioning then sends a text after you booked saying it's not working and you can change your booking if you need to. If you have booked at short notice this is not possible. Booking.com should ask the property to delist that it has air conditioning until it is fixed. If you go through previous reviews you will find this has been an issue for a number of years so is misrepresentation of facilities.

    Friendly staff nice breakfast.

Air conditioning not working made my stay very uncomfortable because window had to be open but noise outside made it impossible to sleep. Bed matress and pillows uncomfortable as well.

Lovely comfortable room, friendly and helpful staff and a great location on the canal.

Locanda La Comacina is a perfect place to stay when you visit Comacchio - which you absolutely should do it. Comacchio is absolutely lovely place with many canals and bridges. The hotel is nice and clean and it is next to one of the canals - hotel has its own restaurant on the boat where you can have there your breakfast or other meal and enjoy the view to this Little Venezia. You should try eel and the very best ice cream ever in gelateria Bar Ideal! The hotel stuff is very friendly and always trying to make you feel cosy. Do not skip the visit of a very interesting museum Manifattura dei Marinati - the old factory that used to manufacture roasted eel.

Cosy romantic hotel in lovely "Venice like" city, brilliant breakfast on the chanel in front of the hotel.

Pity the junior apartma has only roof window without view. Sometimes hard to find someone on the reception.

Didn''t have any. My old age presented me with an apology to the lady who understood my embarrassing situation.

    Understanding.
