Cons -
- Breakfast could have more options
- It’s better if there is a good restaurant inside the hotel but there is a lot of good restaurants 10-15 minutes with car
- We got the dinner/breakfast inclusive package. For dinner the plain water was charged 10.50 CHF per day. The waiter said the wine was included so my self and my wife ordered wine. But it was charged 34 CHF each day. My 3 year old dinner was not inclusive with the package. Neither the front desk or restaurant told us. I had to wear blazer for dinner which I didnt have one and I had to pay 25 CHF each day to rent blazer. At the end of check out I am surprised with 400 CHF bill for wine, water during dinner with lead to believe it was included and neither front desk or restaurant neglect to disclose when I asked before I checked in. Parking was charged 3 days each day 28 CHF. When I asked why 3 days and I only booked 2 nights they said it was incorrectly charged and they would reverse the charge. But I haven't got the reversed charge on my credit card yet. To be honest I am not recommending this hotel. Even plain water is charge10.50 CHF each glass during dinner. The funny thing is we cannot bring room bottle water either. So the dinner is not inclusive its basically charged with bottle water and wine. The waiters are sneaky to make you belive its included.

Beautiful! Great staff and amenities. The Grand restaurant excellent. Breakfast buffet was great! A nice live concert Sunday evening in the lobby with Harp player Kety Fusco was a nice surprise. The bar and lounge, smoking lunge and billiard room were all great!
The breakfast was okay. Not the best.

Wonderful spa area and breakfast
Very rude service
One of the most beautiful hotels I have stayed out with staff that go over and beyond. The dining experience at the Kronenstubli was also wonderful. A truly personalised and exceptional quality of service. From the reception staff to spa to bar keepers, every member of the Kronenhof team were wonderfully kind and helpful. I accidentally left a rucksack on a train platform and the staff went and not only located the item but sent it on a train. Could not be more complimentary - will be returning! Thank you to the Kronenhof team for a wonderful stay!
Magical Hotel, with stunning views, a spectacular lobby, cozy bar, wonderful dining room, the beautiful outdoors pavillon, lovely spa and very helpful and courteous staff!
the bedroom although beautiful had unconfortable pillows
Most appalling treatment from reception staffWe were literally yelled at. Mila at the reception needs an urgent medical care for her bursts of anger
Aggressive reception staff
Exceptional
I saw two people having sex in broad daylight in the whirlpool. :(
From front desk , restaurant, bar, spa, staff…Amazing Hotel which should be examples of hospitality and comfort More than we expected and looking forward to come back
Amazing location , very beautiful. Elegant vintage charm. Very comfortable and clean . Lovely spar . Helpful and cheerful staff
Pricing of the beverages was not transparent - charged £10 for bottle of water at supper and drinks were refilled too quickly in effort to encourage you to buy more
The food and service at the hotel is superb. This was our second stay and we will definitely be returning.
Nothing, it is such a beautiful building, the rooms are sublimely decorated and the service and facilities are world class.
A classical 5-star experience. The staff were amazingly friendly and did their best to make you feel at home. The view from the room was breathtaking. The restaurant, bar and cigar lounge where excellently styled and put together. The hotel gives a warm, cozy and luxurious feeling. I Will definitely return.
The concierge, Andreas, was outstanding. Not only did he pick us up and return us to the train station, he went above and beyond creating an itinerary of places to see. He is a young man who is extremely personable, kind, knowledgeable, and an outstanding employee. The hotel is very fortunate to have him as an employee!
We purchased the half board (dinner plan) for all thr nights of our stay. The restaurant room was beautiful and the staff wonderful. However, the food choices for dinner and actual food marginal but the service exceptional.
Beautiful property with a large room. Staff was wonderful. Great bar with excellent service. Enjoyed dinner at Kronenstubli. The breakfast buffet was amazing!
Wonderful location and facilities complemented by impeccably professional and friendly staff. I left my backpack behind with medication by mistake. The staff were kind enough to catch me at the next town to bring me the medicines. Talk about going the extra mile ( or two).
If you don't like this hotel you don't like life.
Next time I’ll stay in St moritz
It was a fair distance from St moritz. The hotel does not offer a shuttle service which I found odd. The taxi for a 7-8 km ride is €80!
Our recent stay at Kronenhof hotel was highlighted by the exceptional staff, building history and the amazing facilities. From the moment we arrived, their warmth and hospitality made us feel welcomed. Each member of the team and specifically the concierge team went above and beyond to ensure our comfort and satisfaction. We will definitely stay again at Kronenhof when we revisit St. Moritz.
The location is wonderful as the hotel in the middle of Pontresina, yet peaceful, far from the main road and traffic noise and with a stunning view of the mountains. The building is a jewel box, inside out.
The double bedroom had two single mattresses pulled together which is disappointing given that it is a five star hotel. Reducing the hotel’s environmental footprint could receive more attention from the management (e.g., still travel size toiletries in the bathroom, etc.). The tea was overpriced for the quality we received.
