Hotel Steinbock Pontresina

The breakfast buffet was expansive and top quality. The wonderful waitress that served us was swreet and made us feel at home. The room was large by european standards and well appointed. The spa was beautiful and offered everything one could expect. We enjoyed the sauna, a massage, the facility and relaxed poolside while watching it snow outside.The restaurants, especially the fondue and raclette restaurant on premise were stuff of lifetime memories. We met locals and servers there that made it a warm and inviting meory as well.

The people are kind and attentive. Interior design in the commons is functional and invites you to be there. That includes a nice bar area. The restaurant menu was excellent.with a good ambiance. I went to the sauna and the wellness area feels like a luxurious spa. Oh and the offer of a free delicious apple.

It was in a perfect location for us. The hotel and staff were top notch - could not have been better. Food was great and the room and bed were very comfortable.

I like the traditional decor. The facilities overall are excellent eg. the ski lockers, easy parking, pool and spa. The staff were excellent, always welcoming and super professional.

Finding a parking space in order to check-in was the biggest challenge.

Amazing time at Hotel Steinbock Pontresina. The location is perfect. The staff is great, especially Leonardo at the reception desk and Lea at the restaurant. Will come back.

Location is very close to St moritz, it takes 10 mins by bus, and bus station is right front of the hotel. The facilities of the hotel were quite nice, and the staff were very friendly and kind.

Super helpful staff, nice flexibility with restaurant reservations, great facilities, great value for money. Very cozy stylish hotel. You are also able to use the facilities of hotel Walther (5 star) throughout the stay.

You have to go over the outside area to go to spa - make sure to change in the locker room if you don't like the cold. The gym is a very small room with rather minimum equipment. But overall amazing facilities!

It’s a beautiful location in a nice and quiet area.

The only downside is that you have to walk outside to go to the spa.

It was lovely and had everything I needed. The room and private bathroom were exceptionally clean and comfortable.Breakfast was excellent and most evenings I dined at the hotel because it was so good and comfortable.They gave me a pass to use all lifts, trains and buses in the area which made my stay even better!The SPA facilities were exceptional too: jacuzzi, pool, several saunas at different temperatures and humidity, and a water fall to cool off! It was great and I would stay there again!!!

Our stay at Hotel Steinbock was fantastic! The location is ideal, with easy access to hiking trails and stunning views of the Alps. The room was comfortable and beautifully decorated.The staff were friendly and attentive, making me feel right at home. I especially enjoyed the breakfast, which had a great selection of fresh and delicious options.I highly recommend Hotel Steinbock for anyone looking to enjoy the beauty of Pontresina. I can’t wait to return!

Nice room and little baclony with views over the garden. Nice size pool and spa. Nice lounge for chilling in the evening.

Breakfast was fine but not as comprehensive as other hotels.

Beautiful hotel nestled into the mountains. Very helpful staff. Comfortable bed and pillows. Quiet location. Spa and pool an extra bonus.

Would choose a different room next time

The staff is exceptionally friendly. They help and explain everything. Breakfast is superb, the additional offerings for wellness and rail tickets are great too. Its also a rustical style, which i like a lot.

The room had an old smell. As well as the toilet bowl not being clean on the outer side.

Amazing staff , great service and high quality accommodation. The restaurant is top quality with a great beverage selection. The wellness is so great you will want to spend more time in it.

It was okay, maybe the spa time could extend a bit, but it's not a priority.

The staff was "over the top" with friendliness and service. I like the bus pass and ability to go over to the spa next door complimentarily even though I didn't have time to do so. The rooms were spotless.

The room I had was small with a bathroom. someone upstairs where perhaps there is a dormitory was moving furniture when I was trying to go to sleep.
