Hotel Station

I liked the value and the breakfast.

It was far from the central area

The rooms were clean and comfortable. The hotel was located right by the train station. The staff was very helpful and the breakfast had a nice variety of food. The free Engadine pass allowed us to take trains and ride cable cars to view the sites.

It was a bit of a walk to the actual town of Pontresina.

We didn’t like: One of the room in our reservation didn’t have any heat and temperature outside was 8 degrees orLess Fahrenheit. We mentioned it to the receptionist who said she was going to inform it. Nothing was done. Our daughter slept with us in the other booked room to be able to sleep.

The front desk staff weren't particularly friendly or welcoming. However, the restaurant staff more than made up for it :)

Location is just in front of the train station, and you can take a bus to visit the town. Nice and clean room with a beautiful architecture.

Breakfast was very basic.

Good variety for breakfast. Good base for walking in the Upper Engadine, with easy access by public transport in all the principal directions. It is a great boon that, at the time of year I was staying, public transport was free (including cable cars) if you stayed 2 nights or more.

Great value clean and close to our hiking trailhead and the train station. We got upgraded to a view room on our return. They stored our luggage for a week while we hiked

The adjacent restaurant Ricardos was great food and atmosphere but the wait staff was very curt and unhelpful.

Location, staff, Value, facilities, environmentally conscious, comfortable, breakfast.

Ideal situation, very convenient rooms, link to the Riccardo's restaurant, friendly waiters and staff.

Location right next to the train station, quiet rooms away from the street. Nice restaurant downstairs with lovely interior and nice terrace area, alas on a sometimes busy street.

The location was great! Very clean and comfortable rooms. We had a big problem they rented us a room on the first floor and it was sooooo hot. When I went to reception and complained she reassured me to open the window and it would cool off. It was horrible opening the window. We had no privacy. I again went to complain and they graciously moved us to the 3rd floor. The room was hot but we could open the window without fear of someone breaking in or having no privacy. They explained the air conditioning was a whole system and was not individual to the room.

Don’t rent a room on the first floor when the air conditioning is needed. Horrible!!

The view to mountains from rooms were amazing. Everything was clean and breakfast also nice.

One night we lost hot water and we had to take cold bath and this was really uncomfortable.

The location was perfect. Across the street from the train and bus station. No need to lug suitcases on and off a bus, or get a cab. There was a good restaurant and bar on the premises and you could take a beer to your room and just relax. The bus into the old part of town was also a few steps away

We had a hill view. Train side would probably not be exciting.

The hotel is across the road from the station. It was ok for an overnight stop. Bed was comfortable. Shower cubicle was small but powerful shower. Breakfast was good.

There weren’t any TV channels in English but that was my fault for not checking.

Loved the atmosphere and staff.

I use a cane and getting up and down stairs, even to get to the elevator was a hassle. Ramps would have helped.

Sweet smell of wax when entering the place, sauna, restaurant with excellent pizza nearby, floor heating, and little chocolate.Breakfast very good. Excellent location right next to the train station

As with any place in Switzerland, Riccardo's restaurant isn't cheap, but the pizzas we had were worth it.

Super clean, amazing staff! Xc trails right by the house.

Staff was great, breakfast was great, quiet, and easy public transportation. Beautiful scenery in all directions.

Right next to the train station so perfect for our trip on the Bernina Express. Friendly staff, comfy bed & fabulous view from our room. Food excellent in the attached restaurant.
