surrounding is beautiful

Breakfast is bad, eggs need to pay, family room is a double bunk bed, looks like Foreign Workers' dormitory. Breakfast area and our room is at different block and have to drag our luggage because there is no lift

The location is execptional with direct access to the train to st morirz and pontresina in just few minutes. The rooms were spacious and clean. And the food is excellent

Small hotel with unbeatable location - fabulous view of the glacier (including from our window), comfortable and clean rooms. Extensive and world class hiking, biking and train trips (Bernina line) on your doorstep. Charming yet modern, almost Scandi feel. Included extensive self serve breakfast with delicious local fresh baked loaves, local cheeses and cured meat, fruit/ veg, muesli.

Next to the train station , the view from our room is beautiful. Very nice breakfast.

The location was amazing.The Reception staff and the Restaurant staff were really helpful.The food was good.Since I was going with my family the bunk beds was not comfortable.

The staff was exceptional. Although we arrived after and left before the reception opening hours, they made sure we have ever what we need.The style of the hotel is very cosy,

The amazing experience to get to the hotel by the Bernina Train, surrounded by mountains and amazing view, it is absolutely the best part. The staff very nice and the breakfast as well wonderful.

Horrible experience and staff too not so friendly

Menu was average. Breakfast too was not enough choices,for fresh eggs we need to pay & that's ridiculous.No lifts to go to the rooms so very difficult to carry big heavy bags.Rooms are in a different building so late evening check becomes difficult to then walk all the way to the room and then carry bagsRoom size was very very small and cramped not enough space for 4 adults with 4 big bags

Perfect location, excellent food, extremely helpful staff. I was happy to learn after booking that I would get a transportation pass valid for the Engadin region. So nice to step from my room onto a train and get anywhere I want to go. Parking was also very convenient.

The service was excellent. The people very nice. We stayed in the annex and it was very clean, serving our needs. We enjoyed the hike to the glacier.

You are a few train stops from any town and that limits you on dining etc.

We loved the location the most. The room was clean and quiet. The food in the restaurant downstairs was delicious, staff was friendly and attentive. The train right outside made it a convenient spot. And the best thing was having a glacier right outside made the door and so many trails .

Very remote place. Very peaceful. Great outdoor surroundings for hiking. Great food for dinner and great buffet for breakfast included. Should have stayed longer.

Hotel is just alone located close to railway station Morteratsch just at the beginning of the way to Morteratsch glacier.And this is definitely the best way to stay to have possibility to visit beautiful glacier around sunrise and sunset.Rooms are spacious and comfortable.Restaurant is very good as well!

Location - literally the train stop and the lodge at the base of the glacier. Lots of options for outdoor activities. Breakfast was included - great variety: typical European breakfast items along with soft boiled eggs, fresh bread and several choices of jam for toast, juice, coffee, tea, fruit and more. Dinner was a treat - great staff and many delicious options to choose from.

The Morteratsch staff runs an amazing business. Everything was top notch.

No lift and shower head had a mind of its own.

Right next to the station in beautiful surroundings with easy access to the local hikes, cable cars, chair lifts etc. Room was very simply furnished, but clean and quiet. Breakfast was very good. Staff were friendly and helpful.

Prices in the restaurant were very high, but I guess if you go to Switzerland this is something you have to expect!.

Our room had bunk beds, was compact in size, clean, and comfortable for our one-night stay.

Lovely hotel on the bernina Express railway. We slept in the red buildning, detatched from the main hotel, where they have lovely clean bedrooms with bunks beds, comfortable for our one night stay.
