The terrace was lovely.

The bathroom door was large and awkward opening into the bathroom. Kids were running and screaming in the hallway several of the mornings. We had to carry our luggage up a flight of stairs from the parking lot. The restaurant isn't open enough.

Lovely location and views. Superb breakfast. Really friendly and helpful staff. Thank you for the upgrade.

Shower units in our superior rooms were a bit dated.

The rooms and bathrooms need a refreshment. That we couldn't use the sauna because you have to tell in the morning that you want to use it and confirm the time. When you are on holidays, it would be nice a bit of flexibility.

Service was good, very kind staff. The room was clean and tidy.

The hotel looks old, the furniture, the smell and the style fit for old age people. Spa closed, restaurant serving only fixed menu in the evening.

Breakfast was excellent Location good but you need a car to get into central town Pontremoli

The room was on tbe 2nd floor and the room below had a terrace with lots of bushes that attracted wasps and other flying insects that tried to enter our room so we were unable to have the doors to the Juliet balcony open.Suggest mosquito blinds on the doors and/or remove the bushes below the Juliet balcony.

This hotel was very clean, the staff were great and facilities were good.

We loved everything, from the moment we arrived Vincent, Maria and Maria’s mother were extremely hospitable. They treated us like family!!! The house is incredible, full of history and stunning furniture.We highly recommend booking in for dinner it was superb, I’m celiac and they made me special meals for dinner, breakfast and lunch to take with me!! Vincent even dropped my brother in law off at the train station.The whole family were incredible!!!

It was lovely and quiet. There was a restaurant with a set menu/price which was very good. The shower was great, hot and good pressure. The staff were friendly and quite attentive. It was a peaceful area with great views of the mountains. A wedding was set up and this would be a lovely location to celebrate your nuptials. ?

Probably us, however the signage into the resort could be clearer as we first thought we were entering a golf course. This should not put you off though.

Lovely location in a quiet town and great view from the property. Really nice pool, although we didn’t have enough time to enjoy it. Breakfast was very scarce though, looked like there should have been more items than there were (ie empty chafing dishes where you would expect something like bacon or scrambled eggs or sausage), brown baguette had finished and it was not replenished at all, empty trays where there should be pastries, etc.

Stunningly beautiful place in the rural town of Pontremoli. Lovely room with a private balcony with a view of the mountains. We went out of season so the pool was closed as it was too cold. Dinner was a set.menu of home made traditional Italian food that was delicious! We were very late getting there as there was a 2 hour traffic jam on the autostrada but the owner waited up for us and settled us in with a warm welcome! The breakfast was great with lots if choice even freshly squeezed orange juice!

No tea and coffee facilities in the room.No English channel on the TV.

The in built cooling system for my room on the 2nd floor didn’t work the first night and there was no fan, the rest of the stay it wasn’t great either, very hot so just about managed to get through the night. Only the first floor has air conditioning. Also there is no food available apart from pre-booking for lunch and dinner

Quiet location with wonderful views and nicely placed to discover the area. Very good buffet breakfast and a really good evening meal/buffet. Staff were very welcoming

It can a bit of a climb to get luggage from the car to the hotel.

Location was rural and perfect.Breakfast was lovely, plenty of choice, fresh fruit, cereal, yoghurts, cakes, bread, eggs, ham, cheese, jam, butter, coffee, teaFriendly and approachable staff and very helpful.Room was excellent size and clean, fresh towels every day
