    Pros +

    • The location was very convenient as it’s close to the main town with all the restaurants and close to the port where we took our tour to Balos etc.
    • Free parking, room ok, nice staff, location easy to find.
    • The staff were extremely polite and helpful — especially Lefteris at the reception who kindly offered us a room with the largest bathroom available. The breakfast was quite good, and the hotel environment overall was clean and pleasant. We also appreciated the relaxing atmosphere and the comfortable common areas. The room was clean (they change towels and sheets almost every day , and clean the room daily). Air conditioning was good but it may take some time to cool the room, especially in hot days.

    Cons -

    • I do not recall his name, but the man who attended us at the front desk was not friendly at all - he seemed annoyed at our presence. We were polite and courteous- my partner speaks Greek so they were chatting and my boyfriend mentioned my family origins are from another country, and the man proceeded to make remarks about that being a dangerous and criminal place and that women should be careful there. It was really off putting bordering on insulting and not the way any guest should be greeted - it ruined the initial part of our stay. The bed was also extremely hard, like sleeping on a wood pallet, but the A/C worked great.
    • Breakfast can be improved
    • Unfortunately, our room turned out to be designed for guests with disabilities, which affected the bathroom experience. There was no proper shower enclosure, just a curtain, and the drain didn’t work efficiently, causing water to flood the room one night — even reaching the bed area. The shower drain could easily rotate and close by accident, which made things worse (judging from the hotel photos, there are rooms with bathtubs and better showers). The mattress was too soft and uncomfortable, especially if you have back problems or are on the heavier side. There were no extra pillows in the wardrobe. Also, while the pool area looked nice, the actual pool is much smaller than it appears in the photos, and the bar was not operating during our stay (no music or barman, reception was serving drinks on request). Lastly, being close to the street, our room was noisy in the mornings due to nearby businesses.

    HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE AND STAFF

I would give a zero if I could DO NOT stay here! I was given a very outdated room with a broken air conditioner when it was 33 degrees Celsius. I asked for a new room or to have it fixed and the front desk clerk verbally assaulted me, threatened me and told me too bad and when I asked for a refund to go elsewhere I was told no refund, and they kept the 5 euro climate tax I had to pay in cash even though it was supposed to be included in the booking as well. I spent over 2 1/2 hours on the phone with booking.com trying to remedy the situation. And the desk clerk got so angry that he again threatened me and said that he would have me arrested if I didn’t immediately leave the property. I’m still trying to work with booking to make sure I get my refund. I had to book a new room on my own at a different establishment. DO NOT stay here. It was a horrible experience. I travel a lot, over 40 countries. I’m the level 3 genius plus and this was the worst experience I have ever had.

    Clean and comfortable

Near the main road, pretty noisy

    9HerbertPosted on: 10-12-2024

The hotel was empty when we arrived. I found a cleaning person and they called the ownre. They were only accepting guests that booked with Booking.com. We had to wait for the owner to show up and give us a key. But it was worth it. The hotel eventually filled up. It was very clean. No noise. Good breakfast - pretty standard for Crete.

Nice room, good breakfast, nice swimming pool, friendly staff

Good cost benefit. The breakfast was very good, the room was super clean and close to all stores in the area. Recommended

The wifi is a bit slow, but you can manage, just be a bit pacient ?

    10SandroPosted on: 10-4-2024

Very clean, rooms with all the necessary comforts. The manager is very polite and accommodating, and all at a very reasonable price. :).

Small room but enough for 1-2nights. Amazing huge breakfast buffet with the best juices from the electric machine (i love it). Lot of spaces for car parking and Petfriendly (my dog was welcome). Pool smaller than i expected but still enough

The room has view on the sea but lot of noises from the street and cars so we didnt sleep so well (better you have room from the pool side)

A good breakfast was offered by the very efficient and attentive staff. One could take it inside or outside or near the pool. The swimming pool was beautiful and fairly large with a number of umbrellas and sun loungers within an enclosed wall. The room was marked as "de luxe" but I would not rate it that highly. However it was well equipped and very spacious indeed. It was on the ground floor but upper floors were served by a lift. There was a large kitchen area with huge fridge and full cooker facilities. Plenty of storage for self-catering.The hotel was well placed for exploring the superb area sites and towns. Parking was well-organised.The walk to the town centre took about 8 minutes but the pavements were a little narrow in places especially at night. Two good supermarkets were nearby.Staff were helpful and friendly. The decor was superb with a gorgeous public lounge area. Clearly a popular hotel as it was quite full. All public areas were beautifully set out.

The outside main road was very busy at times and sometimes very noisy at night. But the room was reasonably well placed to avoid too much disturbance. There was mention of a balcony in the room description but it was minute and just large enough for a small table and 2 chairs. A shame.A couple of areas inside were a little scruffy and seemed unfinished, ie the large storage cupboard. But it was a large apartment, to be fair.

    noise from the street

A great hotel for the price. Swimming pool and reasonable breakfast included. Friendly reception.

For the very fair price nobody should have any complaints. Best value hotel so far.

    8MilouPosted on: 9-4-2024

Breakfast was excellent - a lot of options. Good and decent size swimming pool. Room was clean.

Room is not very cozy, balcony very small. Our towels got soaking wet during the night because the aircon leaked above the drying rack. Bathroom is a bit outdated. Room could do with a little renovation: nicer color on the wall and some decoration.

An excellent location with the pool, the facilities were good, it was quiet and I recommend it

Very friendly and helpful staff, great location, property was clean.

A little outdated building. Wifi in our room did not work. Breakfast is nice but the same every morning for longer stays becomes anoying.

Super clean and tidy. Great location close to town. Breakfast was lovely and generous. Room had eevrything I needed. A nice balcony too. Staff very friendly and helpful. Had a great stay and big thanks :)

Good price for hotel and nice breakfast. Nice swimming pool and very friendly hotel staff :) We also could borrow umbrella for free from hotel for our beach trip, which was really kind!

I noticed that our towels has not been changed properly every day, just few of them were changed regularly.

Breakfast had something for everyone. Location was fantastic, beds by our standard were very comfortable. We know it’s a personal choice but we slept really well. Rooms are a little outdated but still functional. Some minor repairs and fresh paint would go a long way.
