Pros +
- Breakfast was good. Scenery outstanding! Loved that we could wander through the vineyard and ruins on the property.
- The food, wine, and location were all excellent. Beatrice went above and beyond with her friendliness and hospitality. She drove me and my daughter to town when a taxi was unavailable. Highly recommend!
- Beautiful location. Small and intimate size with wonderful, caring service.
Cons -
- The grounds around the pool and play area were in need of a little TLC. IE: broken furniture needed replacing, broken walkways.
- The drive up from Pinhão was a bit tense for my wife. ?. There really is nothing not to like about the property.
- It was too far from the town and other attractions. Driving around could be scary at times, especially at night returning to the hotel down a fairly steep narrow cobble road.

Unique location
It was too far from the town and other attractions. Driving around could be scary at times, especially at night returning to the hotel down a fairly steep narrow cobble road.
Everything! A very cute and quaint hotel, rooms were clean and the view of the vineyards was spectacular. The grounds are so pretty with all the flowers and grapevines. The breakfast that is included offers a lot, including your choice of freshly prepared eggs. The staff are exceptional and go above and beyond.
There was nothing to dislike about the property!
Rui and his staff were very friendly and helpful. The location was stunning. The rooms were very comfortable. The included breakfast was delicious. There is obvious pride in providing exceptional service.
There were a few obvious repairs needed on the outside area of the property. Some outside furniture around the pool could use replacing. Wooden areas on the outside stairs are also needing some work. Dinner was not our favourite meal as we found the meat tough and a bit bland.
Quiet, beautiful location. Family run, very welcoming! Breakfast was excellent, wine tasting and dinner also great.
The location was remote, we had a car and drove to town. Hotel was a bit understaffed.
The breakfast was delicious! Expresso, cappuccino any coffee you wanted, fresh squeezed orange, pastries, yogurt, omelets/eggs made to order. The wine tasting/tour with Beatrice was wonderful very informative learned so much about wines and port. Very enthusiastic personality the owner's daughter gave the tour she was amazing.Spent one day walked around the vineyard and then relaxed by the pool with wonderful views of the vineyards with a bottle of wine a much-needed rest after a week of travel around Portugal.
We loved our time there.
Stunning property. Rooms were cute and the meals were amazing
A little music for the restaurant would have been ideal. It was a little quiet
Beautiful location, lovely property. Very welcoming staff. Food excellent, evening meal and breakfast were lovely. Paid for the optional tour of the winery and sampled their produce. The atmosphere in the hotel was very warm and it felt very easy to strike up conversations with other travellers. A rather wonderful experience.
Bathroom was a little tired, would have preferred a walk in shower - but this is being picky and didn't detract from a great stay.
It was a beautiful location. The owners were gracious and wonderful. The wine tasting/tour was outstanding.
They need to fix their internet. We are remote workers and had a different time connecting to the internet and working. They have Starlink. I think they just need to adjust their settings.
The views were amazing. The restaurant option were great. The host went beyond to assist.
Beautiful terraced vineyards surrounding the working winery. Owners were lovely people and winery tour and tasting was very informative. Breakfast and meals were carefully prepared and delicious.
Good Hospitality and very personalized care. We had the dinner at the restaurant and it felt like the food being served in a Portuguese home.
I loved this place. Beautiful small Quinta and family owned. The room for 3 (2 adults & an eight year old) was spacious (we had a lot of stuff), beds comfortable, clean, with air conditioning and private bathroom. Free parking and breakfast was included. The personnel was excellent, they clean your room daily, if you like. I felt ill one day, they prepared a special soup, took very care of us every day. They offer a tour of their winery (couldn’t do it because I was sick) and my husband say that they have good wines. My daughter loved the pool. Food was delicious. Definitely coming back.
Beatris, the owner, was very helpful. Good location (if not looking for an urban area and having a car to get to/from the hotel).
Room was on the smaller size for our taste.
It has a beautiful location and friendly staff.
No wifi! Bad air conditioning. Expensive restaurant.
An absolutely lovely property in the most picturesque setting. Stunning views all around, a lovely property to walk, and absolute peace and quiet! Our host was so lovely in giving us wine recommendations. We felt so comfortable and relaxed, I wish I could’ve stayed longer.
Nothing at all, a perfect experience
Beatrice, the owner’s daughter, welcomed us and treated us like VIP. She was very personable and friendly. And the property has breathtaking views of the hills and vineyards. You feel like you have stepped back in time while staying at this beautiful property. Highly recommend!
Everything !!! The views were amazing ! The Hotel was amazing, beautiful and so clean ! The food was incredible! 10/10 experience !
Just a recommendation , based on personal preference I would prefer different coffee brand .
