Located in the village of Vik, this hotel is 10 minutes’ walk from the black sandy beaches of southern Iceland. Free private parking and free WiFi are available. Each simply furnished room at The Vík Inn by Ourhotels has a private bathroom with toiletries and a shower. Jeep tours of the scenic surroundings can be arranged by staff. The Vík Inn by Ourhotels's daily buffet breakfast is served in their modern dining room. Katla Geopark Museum and a tourist information center are found next to the hotel. An outdoor swimming pool is 10 minutes’ walk away, while horseback riding on the beach in Vík is a 10-minute walk away.

- It in the heart of the town ¿ walking distance to many things ¿ loved the staff
- Located in the center of Vik near many shops and restaurants. Pretty solid breakfast offerings.
- Very friendly staff
Cons -
- No
- Not the most luxurious but got the job done. Bathroom didn¿t have anywhere to hang towels and very few outlets in the room.
- We did not know about the coffee in the upstairs hall till we were leaving.
