    Pros +

    • Location
    • Not comfortable
    • Room was nice. There is also a free massage chair that was very helpful after a long walk in the town all day. Parking is free, but on an open plot of land next to the hotel.

    Cons -

    • The stay was okay overall, but there are several things that could be improved. On the first day, there was no water in the room, and we were told it was a scheduled issue — which was very inconvenient after a long trip. The bedding sheets and towels were old and should be replaced. There were also mosquitoes in the room on the first night, which made it difficult to sleep.Breakfast was included, but the options were very limited — only two or three things to choose from. It could be much better with more variety and freshness.
    • Like everything is bad the room smells the bed is bad no comfortable with bathroom bad there nothing i can put my clean clothes on , the room is so crowded and the breakfast is scam
    • Our room had a weird smell of mold that remained even after opening the windows for several hours.Breakfast was very basic. There was only a small table with honey, jam, butter and some bread. Also there is a choice of eggs, omelettes or a local traditional type of bread with cheese/butter that you can order for free. Other than that, just some juice or filter coffee. Finally, the front yard of the hotel is not like it's shown on the picture, which is quite a disappointment when you arrive.

The room is very clean and big. The staff is very, very nice. Parking is comfortable, but with no shade.

Very low pressure of water. There is only shower gel, no shampoo. Hair dryer is a disaster. breakfast is very bad. I didn't like it. coffee is disgusting

The hotel room is really ok and nice and it is just next to the ring, so easy to reach

The breakfast is included, but what you call a breakfast........ the coffee you need to pay apart. For me a breakfast without coffee is no breakfast. Then just make it paid and complete.

Hotel Zavicaj is an hidden gem in Belgrade. Amazing location with free parking in front of a hotell, spacious rooms, and FANTASTIC staff. Big thumb up for mister Mladen who assisted me with my late arrival during the night. All reccomendations!

There is no such thing, I liked this hotel a lot.

    7TodorPosted on: 2-13-2025

The hotel is located near the highway that crosses Belgrade and has parking!

The hotel is located near the highway that crosses Belgrade! The breakfast options were several varieties of omelets with eggs or a bread filled with something between cheese and cottage cheese. But the biggest problem in my opinion was that there was not enough water pressure in the bathroom, bathing was a real ordeal.

Free parking, large rooms, excellent wi-fi

Room was clean, quiet, bed comfortable, staff very nice. Free bar in the room. Big and free parking.

Bad smell was present in Bathroom. I should complain, but I haven't, I was only one night in hotel.

    Location

Torn pillow, uncomfortable mattress, beds separate when sleeping, there is no coffee or tea machine.

the parking was useful, the location near Partizan Stadium helped us.

boring breakfast, hotel gives very small variation to choose and not gives almost anything beside, boring hotel without any public areas to use, we had problem with hot water, took 2 days to solve (out of the 3 days we stayed) beside the advantage we had for the Partizan Stadium - it is horrible location. with that high price they took there are much better options.

-Free parking area-Restaurant has lots of options, quick and delicious

-Room had cleaning issues, spider webs on window corner and heavily dirty fan above the toilet seat. -very few breakfast options (only omelets with different ingredients) -I request an invoice during check-out and I am still waiting for it. Try to reach them from different channels but no feedback!!

I chose this hotel because I was driving and it offered what looked to be an easy location just off the E75 with free parking, modern and a reasonable price. The compromise of course is that you are a few kilometres from the centre but I am happy to walk that (not everyone will be), and after seeing the absolute traffic chaos in the city I am glad I made that choice. However, there are a few things to note if you are thinking the same: Firstly the exit from the E75 isn't clear as it looks like you are entering a service area, which you are, but trust it as the road to the hotel is just through it. Next the hotel wasn't really visible from the road, obscured by trees and hedges. I missed it and had to go around the block. Better to look for the 'Hotel Parking' sign on the right - again confusing because it says Hotel Zavicaj rather than Hotel Garni. but again trust it (Zavicaj is the restaurant attached to the hotel). Indeed the hotel felt like a sideline to the restaurant on many fronts. Also, the hotel had no street maps of Belgrade - the inference being to use your phone - but I much prefer a paper map plus I did not have a local SIM and could not get the internet. Thankfully I managed to find my way into the city and picked up a map at a Tourist Info office I came across! Finally regarding location there is nothing noteworthy in the immediate vicinity of the hotel. In summary, if not driving then I would suggest paying the extra for a more central hotel to be a better option.

The hotel appears to be an old building which has been modernised into an 'art deco' style hotel. It might appeal to some but for me it just doesn't work (rooms with abstract art walls and odd bits of old furniture?)Reception was only manned in the morning to deal with check outs. When checking in you have to wait for a restaurant waiter to become free which basically involved just giving me the room key.Shower: the more I turned the lever towards hot, the lower the water pressure became.Breakfast: A choice of eggs (fried, scrambled, omelette) supplemented by a couple of cereal options and toast.

    The room was clean.

There is a smoking restaurant on the ground floor, so there was a smell of smoke even in my room. there are no double beds, they put twin beds together. I was advised to put a blanket in between the beds not to feel the hole. When I asked for a double blanket, they didn't have it either. Breakfast is served in that smoking restaurant, and it is quite poor: eggs to choose , bread, jam and apples (half of them were spoiled). there is only type of cheap liquid soap in the bathroom. no shampoo, no conditioner, no body lotion. very very very basic hotel, definitely NOT 4 star. 3 at max.
