- Beautiful and classical room and public spaces
- Very nice hotel in the center of town they allowed me to check in early as I had a very early flight.
- I have to praise David in reception . He was really excellent . My case did not arrive at Belgrade Airport. He made a phone call to Lost and Found and spoke to them in their language and then the lady spoke to me and told me my case would arrive later that day . It meant so much to me to meet someone so kind .
Cons -
- No hot water what so ever. Not even luke warm.We mentioned it and God advised to leave the water running for 15 min. After 30 min still cold. They sent up a guy that told us that as the hotel is ful that is the normal heat of the water?Obviously we took no shower.Same thing next morning.Definitely not worth the 250 euro
- Pretty old sanitary and air conditioning systems
- On the first day, the hotel assigned us a room next to the elevator, the sound of its metal door opening and closing woke us up from 6 am. When we asked to change the room, they offered us a smaller room, and after much discussion, they finally gave us a room of the same size and away from the elevator. The hotel breakfast was very poor, and was at the level of a 3-star hotel, not a 4-star hotel. There was no do not disturb sign in the room and despite me telling the maid not to enter the room and that we did not need to clean, she still entered the room without our permission. The room safe was locked and could not be used. Overall, the hotel was in a classic style but very old and outdated and I do not recommend choosing this hotel.

Everyone on staff was so kind, which made the stay at such a unique spot even more enjoyable. Easily one of the most comfortable beds I’ve encountered!
The soap dispenser in the bathroom was… a choice. It leaks soap all over the floor. The shower, though I could hold it, was too high for comfort otherwise and I’m 157 cm. Also, don’t expect to sleep in–as breakfast starts, you will hear every word spoken in the hall.
Great location, clean, comfy
Breakfast: - very poor - the coffee machine was not working for two days - the staff during breakfast was too loud- ambient music was disasterThere is no sound isolation in the room
Nice hotel
Service, cleanliness, the morning house keeping did not clean and change towels every day, location is very far from city center (about 4-5 km)different from hotel’s review in booking.com and etc
Staff is very good and helpful
The hotel is quite old. Although the staff was well-intentioned, the sheets and towels were dirty and old. The air conditioning was not working.
Interesting older hotel close to bus station as well as Old Town Belgrade. Good breakfast. Nice staff.
Convenient traffic
Very, very unhappy experience.1. The hotel does not have a washing machine, so washing clothes will cost 72eur which is even more expensive than our accommodation fee!!2. Only two bottles of water will be provided on the first day of accommodation, and if they argue with us later, they will ask us to buy it ourselves!!3. After taking a cold shower for two days and requesting to change rooms, who can tolerate in Europe during winter4. Breakfast is repeated the day before yesterday, drinking yogurt and bugs , That's disgustingThe experience is extremely poor# Serbia Travel [Topic] # # Serbia Hotels [Topic] # # Serbia Travel Guide [Topic] # # Serbia Lightning Protection [Topic]#
Very good, in artistic style, the hotel close to the center! Very helpful and nice staff.
The shower cabin could be better, but it was quite usable.
The rooms are spacious and the bed is quite comfortable. I was there in the summer and it was great of them to have a running AC as you walked into the room. Staff was friendly and professional.Breakfast was delicious.
Oversight on my end: dont get a room next to the elevator. You will hear it every time someone slams it shut.
I needed a decent hotel near the bus station for just one night, coming in from Zagreb by bus and leaving for the airport the following morning. This hotel was fine for a short stay.
The place is old. It's still charming, but some things were not, like the weird electrical wiring, which clearly needs some upgrading from older systems. The lights are strangely wired to the switches. I had my phone charging and heard a frying sound and smelled something burning. The outlet was burning out my adapter. Every time I plugged in a device I could see electricity shooting from the socket. As a building professional I feel like this place is an electrical fire trap. The breakfast was awful. I just quickly ate something before leaving for the airport. It's fine for a night but I wouldn't stay here longer. Location is not near the nicer parts of town.
Hotel is furnished and decorated in 18th century style. I had a suit at an upper floor, spacious and nice furnished.Everything meet my expectations and it was a pleasant stay. I would recommend it to other tourists. The hotel is located close to the main bus station and a 30 min walk from the city center.
The bathroom door needed a small repair but ,it has been done right after my request. Some days there are major guided tours staying in the hotel but, it was not too bad.
The hotel has a belle epoque atmosphere and is close to the main attractions, shops and restaurants.
The hotel has deteriorated over the years we have used it and is now very much down at heel. The curtains didn't cover the window, breakfast options were unattractive, restaurant staff didn't speak, and maintenance work is clearly bodged.
Ivana at the reception desk is extremely helpful. help me find SIM card for phone, currency exchange etc etc
Beautiful large room.
Not much food for breakfast, if you are late you will find almost anything.
The hotel has a unique interior, preserving its glory from the old days. I really liked the elevator, which looked pretty old. The staff was very friendly. They helped us with the parking which was really important for us. The room is OK, not very spacious, but clean and tidy. The bed was really comfortable. The location of the hotel is very good, you have access to almost everything important from there.
Hotel should do much better for a 4* hotel and for the money. Especially around the facilities. We were there for a night, so this was not a deal breaker, but it is not acceptable for the A/C and mini fridge to not work. The breakfast was OK, but again - you can do much better Queen's Astoria. Salads were not washed properly, sweets were soulless factory made sponge cakes, fruits were just sad.
Very good location, Breakfast on weekends until 11am Checkout at 12 noon. High customer focus. Nice and friendly staff. Good sound insulation in the room. I slept great after a walk around the city. The beds are comfortable.
The coffee during breakfast was not very tasty and there is no option to order a separate espresso Only from the coffee machine. But this problem is easily solved; there are many places where you can drink coffee.
