Great location, easy to find, clean, relaxing space with beautiful, tall ceilings.

The checkin process was highly bumpy. There isn't a checkin desk and we didn't have a room number, correct code to enter the building, or accurate direction. We lucked out by bumping into some guys working on the rooms to gain access and information.

Beds were comfortable

Floors were not swept. I used toilet paper to wipe the bugs and dirt off the bathroom floor.

The location. It was walkable to most areas we visited

Wasn’t the cleanest place we have stayed. No hooks in bathroom for towels etc. average place

Location was good, lots of space. Traveled as a family of 4 with 2 kids. Stayed in the top floor room with a bunk bed. Not fancy by any means, but clean & comfortable enough to spend the days exploring and nights resting.

Only one functional wall socket. Shower needs a screw in holder. Hot. No towel rack in bathroom.

A small but clean room walking distance from the pier, cafes, and restaurants.

Apartment and sleeping area were clean. Linens and sheet also very clean. One of the few places with disposable kitchen towels for cleanup. Extra pillows and blankets in cupboard.Very nice dining table. Location is central and everything you need is walking distance. Free parking. Was very nice. Through Booking.com we had booked an excursion (ATV puffin and volcano tour) so enjoyed this trip a lot.

Apartment was on 4th floor, with steep unfinished floors on the staircase. Bathroom was not clean. Broken tiles. Stains and splatters on floor and walls. The bathroom door lock was broken. Outlet between the twin beds was functional but looked suspiciously worn down. No curtains on the window near the bunk bed so we had to drape one of our jackets over it.

Family split into two rooms at two different floors. Called the host who said to send him an email instead. e mail sent immediately but no resolution or a response until today.

It was a low budget nice room, very simple, clean and comfortable.

The stairs are steep, particularly with heavy luggage and there are no elevators. We were on the 3rd floor, so beware.

Location is excellent, unit was clean, check in was easy. Also, good blackout curtains all around which is great for a summer visit when the sun doesn’t set.

- Given that the listing including a “stovetop, kitchenette, stocked kitchen, and coffee maker”, we packed groceries to cook meals. However, we arrived to find a microwave, mini-fridge, 4 plates, 4 cups, 4 mugs, and 4 sets of silverware, and two small knives. - Balcony is on the listing. It is a balcony shared with the floor and the access door is locked. So you can view the balcony from inside ?- Clean, but missing tiles the in the bathroom, unfinished stairs to our floor, and lots of spare and/or broken furniture in the hallways.- Asked for an hour early check in. Still haven’t heard back; assuming all interactions are automated and there’s no human on the other side. Because of this, opted to share a public review only vs. first sharing privately with the property (my preferred method for these things).

Central location

Stairs. For 2 70ish women , a room on the third floor was a nightmare! Has Iceland never heard of elevators? Most of occupants were young backpackers and I’m sure the stairs were not a problem.

The location near the ferry terminal and proximity for walking to bakery/other restaurants, hiking up Eldhell/Helgafell volcano, to pool - all very nice. Rooms were simple but comfortable.

steam heat valve did not shut off - room was too warm, yet it was too noisy for window to be opened. Continual outdoor music from restaurant across street from mid afternoon to 10 p. Then very noisy pedestrian traffic until 1 am (granted our stay was for Fri + Sat night). Not good for sleeping
