Pros +
- The staff were very friendly and extra helpful.
- Great location and views
- Very spacious, clean and good staff.
Cons -
- It just needs a bit more upkeep. There were large stains on the hallway carpet.
- Just minor things in my room that didn’t work properly. A light switch, the tv cable was disconnected, the shower nozzle holder was defective. Things I really didn’t want to complain about.

The stuff was really nice and the breakfast had quite variety of everything considering low season, it was nice.
The renovation was not done for a long time, thus the smell is a bit odd in the room.
The view overlooking the city was amazing! They also had a good breakfast in the morning and a nice balcony overlooking the pool and town you could eat at. The staff was very friendly and made gave good recommendations.
The hotel is a few blocks back from the main area of the city, but still within a 10-15 minute walk of most places. Also, the parking lot we were told to use was really small and awkwardly shaped. Not sure we would have been able to park there if one or two more cars were there before us, even with our small car. That said, it seemed like there would have been street parking spaces nearby if needed, or maybe even an extra parking lot.
I booked this room for the view of Pico at sunrise from the hotel room. I made sure I was up before sunrise for the 3 nights I stayed here and captured amazing photos. The Blue hour amazing too.
The only negative experience I had was the Markup of 5% in the exchange rate (Euros-$'s) even though I had requested that my payment be done in Euros.
Great breakfast, nice view from the balcony
It was extremely hard and noisy to open the balcony door, it got stuck everytime we tried to open it. The WC should.be fixed cause the water kept dripping.

The staff was very helpful in accommodating a request first to allow us to check into our rooms even though it was earlier than the official check-in time, and second to move a different room on a higher floor with a nicer view from the balcony.
Nothing of an significance.
The room is huge! The beds are very comfortable. Once you open the curtains the view leaves you speechless. You can see the sun coming from behind Pico. The staff is very helpful and resilient, even when face to face with loads of guests at the same time are able to accommodate you in no time. Nice breakfast!
The staff were very friendly. The room was fine. It wasn't far to walk into town. They had parking for the rental car. This hotel provided everything I needed for a visit to Faial.
Very clean and comfy room. There was a bathtub in the bathroom. Balcony was overlooking the sea.The breakfast was nice.Overall, it is an older hotel, but they try to keep it in good shape.
Outdated hotel, nice helpful staff. Location is near the city center.
Location was great
Room smelled bad, a little bit outdated. Food was not good, breakfast and dinner. Felled like the buffet was there since a couple of days
Well located, nice bedroom
I believe it’s a bit of an older concept, but for me it was what I needed in the moment.Good for example for a business trip, less for a couple
Nice staff. Quite big of pool. Not heated, but still ok.
Not so clean. Hair in the bathroom. Toilet ring with a hole in it. Felt old, and not well taken care of. Breakfast was a disappointment. Dry bread, dry pancakes, juice and coffee machine out of order. Little effort in the breakfast. Too bad in a facility with potential.
This hotel is wonderful! Probably one of the best hotel-stays we've had while traveling around the Azores. The room is super spacious, beds are excellent, the balcony is a big plus. Bathroom is great, shower pressure is good, provided products are of high quality. The breakfast is very varied and fresh, and everyone at the hotel is super helpful. Would definitely stay again!
Great location in the heart of Horta. The staff was very helpful especially Hernani who called SATA at the airport to change our flight when we couldn’t get through to the website. The breakfast buffet had many choices. The beds were large. We had a beautiful view of the harbor and Pico.
The hotel is missing some modern amenities like USB or accessible plugs by the bedside. The hotel seemed a little tired.
Very friendly staff and accommodating
No coffee or kettle in the room
It feels like a 5 starts hotel, in the best part of Horta. the view was just amazing, the breakfast was great.
