    Pros +

    • Really good Italian restaurant inside the facility area!
    • Everything is great. Very nice hotel and spa, delicious food, nice staff. I liked that during the New Year period there were some activities in the hotel every day.
    • The place where located the spa is beautiful. The view from the outside pool is amazing.

    Cons -

    • The spa experience was quite underwhelming for the value and the hotel room was old, in general the place needs some modernization.
    • The hippie girl who works in the bar was rube (it’s not my fault if she hates her work)
    • Our stay had several challenges worth noting. The breakfast selection was disappointing, with options that didn’t quite meet expectations. The buffet and coffee machine also had frequent queues, and unfortunately, the coffee quality was subpar—something that could easily be upgraded. The staff, while polite, appeared undertrained and struggled with English communication, which was unexpected for an international hotel. This language barrier, paired with a lack of translated materials, suggests the property may cater more to local guests. The rooms felt quite compact, with dated decor and bathrooms in need of maintenance (some fixtures were loose or damaged). The beds, too, had firm mattresses that may not suit everyone’s comfort preferences. The biggest letdown was the “Balneario” (spa). Charging €30 for a 75-minute session felt excessive for what was offered. The space had significant hygiene issues, with visible mold growth and broken showers that gave the area a neglected, unkempt appearance. Combined with stark, utilitarian concrete structures, the overall ambiance fell far short of the tranquil retreat one would anticipate—it was far from relaxing.Overall, this hotel may work for travelers prioritizing budget over luxury, but significant improvements are needed to align with international standards, particularly in maintaining cleanliness and updating facilities.

The SPA is very nice and the staff is the the SPA is very kind and helpful with all you need. The circuits on offer are good.

The staff of the hotel was very unkind, unprofessional and not keen to solve problems. Since we arrived we had issues with the door of our room which was not opening using the magnetic card. We readily asked the staff to help us and they did nothing apart from replacing the card which every time did not work. Clearly the problem was with the door of the room not the card. Every hotel will have offered us a room replacement, which they didn’t not until 23:40 at night. This I really not the way a guest should be treated.

    The views and the room

The open buffet lacked variety and the quality was not good The baths are terrible and a joke to be honest

    7MarkPosted on: 8-31-2024

The location and the food are excellent

The facilities are all looking very tired and need of updating. Windows need cleaning and net curtains need replacing. The thermal spa is in serious need of attention, with most of the showers not working

    Location

The room wasn’t clean. Full of ants. The dirty towels were replaced. The toilet water was leaking.

    7BelénPosted on: 7-30-2024

The location is fantastic. Perfect to start nice trails from the hotel itself. It seems like it was recently renovated so the size of the rooms and the facilities are nice, the beds are comfortable and the temperature is nice.

Breakfast starts a bit late (8am) if you want to do a long hike, especially in the summer time when it gets really warm. Also, the spa is not great value for the money it costs, but it would be lovely to be on that outdoor pool in winter.

Fabulous location, big comfy hotel, good parking.

From an English perspective, it was 99.9% Spanish plus me and Sue. Not sure we were really warmly welcomed. Also the food was canteen, buffet style and didn't match the standard of the hotel.

    The position.

Old buildings, room not fitted for a 4 star hotel. Bad internal design of the room . Needs re- design to fit a hotel room . Bath was partially in the room. TV was not seen from the bed.Dinner was very low quality and tasteless. Not recommended.

I enjoyed the location, the lake, and the mountainous setting.

??: We were ravaged by bed bugs. The last night was horrible, horrible, horrible. We urgently went to a pharmacy because my son had over 150 bites on his body. The first night, I thought it was a mosquito, but the second night was terrible; I realized it was bed bugs. We didn't sleep all night. We woke up every 2 hours. We were covered in red bumps from head to toe.My son had them all over his back and buttocks; he was scratching all the time. It was heartbreaking to see him suffer. He scratched until he bled.At 6:00 in the morning, I told the receptionist, who was very sorry about the incident. Then I sent an email to the management, but no message, no apology, no response from them!!! Complete silence.I am very dissatisfied. Especially since we had to spend €80 on pharmaceutical products with a lot of inconvenience and very uncomfortable health problems. I am at home now, and I have treated all my belongings, but I don't know if I will also be infested in my house because of this poorly maintained hotel room. There are still many things, for example, the hotel is run down, the doors are broken, the SPA is cold, the food is like a school cafeteria, just next to the receptionist, there are toilets and urine on the floor, no one to clean? In short... Nothing more to say than what has already been said in the other previous comments. It's less than a 2-star hotel. We are now at home; my son finally managed to sleep with a lot of ointment, and I am writing this message while scratching my back and thighs!I hope the management reads this message and feels ashamed for not even offering a simple apology.__??: Fuimos arrasados por chinches.

The hotels location in the mountains is superb. We had many beautiful hikes with maybe the best views I've ever seen. Hotel staff was very nice.Hotel room was clean and the bed was very comfortable.

The bed in the hotel room only had a tiny, thin pillow ?Think maybe the cleaning staff forgot to give us pillows or something.Didn't bother us that much, just used some clothes underneath and it was fine.

Location, location, location! The location in the Pirineos was magnificent! The grounds and trails around the hotel are beautiful. All the food we ate in the hotel restaurant were fantastic! The big fireplace in the lobby was toasty and warm! Our room was lovely with a great view and The bed was very comfortable. The Spa was fantastic - it was amazing to swim outside in the thermal pool while surrounded by the mountains above!

The common areas were very cold and we had to keep our outer wear on.The main hallways in the hotel itself were in need of a lot of repair. Our bathroom had only one glass pane for the shower, so water sprayed on the floor outside the tub when we took our showers. The bathroom had glass walls which was weird for privacy reasons, which could be embarrassing if you were staying with friends. We had trouble getting a taxi back to Panticosa even though we tried to book a few days ahead because there are few available in the area and many clients wanting to use them.

The views and location are just astonishing. Huge spa complex right in the hotel. The rooms are comfortable, clean and heated! There ia a cute chimenea with a bar at the lobby where you can chill and have a cozy time with a glass of wine in the evening. Also every night there was some activities, which is good since there is no much to do around. And there is a ski rental station and some tracks for hiking, super cool.

At the spa hammam was cold and the outside pool was barely warm. For the outside pool at winter time the temperature should be a lot higher, otherwise it doesn’t make any sense. The breakfast is not 4* at all, barely comes to 3*. No vegetables, small variety, few fruit. The lunch is amazing though! Also there is a billard and darts which didn’t work and at the reception they told that they’ve no idea when it will be fixed. It was a pity :(

A nice getaway for relaxing time. The room was large. The views around were amazing, especially with the snow. The hotel is connected to the thermal bath building, so we didn't have to walk in the cold to get there.

The beds were very shaky. Not a lot of choices of food. The thermal bath was not as good as expected, and a bit crowded too with lots of kids.

Beautiful location, the place is amazinng!

It’s quite outdated, leaks everywhere and not very modern. Food is less than average, but understandable since it’s in the middle of nowhere

    7DmitriiPosted on: 12-22-2023

Baths center was nice. There was earn in the room. Good breakfast

The manager said that dinner costs 21 per room but we paid 21e per person. It was hood dinner, but too expensive for us. And there aren’t any other restaurants nearby.

    7AdamPosted on: 11-22-2023

Spa was good, breakfast was nice, bedroom and bathroom were nice

hotel needs an update, was expensive

    4JeffreyPosted on: 10-15-2023

    Pleasant barman.

Brusque and uninformative reception person when I checked in. This is a hotel that relies on its location. The breakfast was very poor, the building is tired and (in places) falling apart. Other hotels in this area (within 5 miles) are cheaper and offer better facilities and better value for money. This is not a hotel to which I will return.
