Santa's Hotel Rakka is a beautiful complex with a design hotel, scenic restaurant and full-service apartments. The hotel is located 1640 feet from Lake Kilpisjärvi, offering views to the lake, Saana fell and Käsivarsi Wilderness Area. The wood-built design hotel was built in 2023, and it offers modern hotel rooms with floor to ceiling views to the nature. Panoramic windows face the majestic Saana landscapes, giving you a perfect view of the northern sky; Kilpisjärvi is one of the best places in whole Europe to see the Aurora Borealis For bigger groups or those who prefer staying in an apartment, we have full-service well-equipped apartments with floor to ceiling windows. So in Rakka you can really feel the closeness of the amazing nature. Every apartment has a private sauna, and some of them have a fireplace to give warmth and atmospheric vibes to the apartment. For breakfast and dinner in the parade spot of the village we have our scenic restaurant Rakka, also with windows reaching from the floor to the ceiling.
