Broeck Oudewater

Breakfast was good and location was perfect.

Parking was snug

In the heart of this beautiful small town, Broek is the must-stay hotel, with quiet, spacious rooms and helpful staff. Ideal for cyclists travellings the Green Heart.

The hotel was very comfortable and nice, and it was a short walk from the cute downtown area. Nice garden in the back for a beer and some hapjes, as well.

The food at the restaurant was pretty mediocre. Better to walk into town.

High quality hotel in a cute charming town. Nicely sized rooms that were super clean. Very good restaurant. Easy parking

No full time hotel reception staff so you sort of have to hunt somebody down (but not a real issue)

Comfortable, modern room. Great breakfast. Free parking right next to your room. Walking distance to the central area of town.

Can’t think of anything significant.

Great stay in a sleepy town. Hotel is clean, warm, comfortable and very pleasant.

the room is clean, bathroom is clean, staff are friendly, free parking in the hotel and on the street, the hotel located in the city center, breakfast was very good

We cannot fault this hotel, it has become our go-to overnight stay before using the cross channel ferry. We love Oudewater and the people and would happily spend an extended time here.

This was our third stay and sadly this time we had some noisy neighbours in the room next door, who for some inexplicable reason were up talking all night until around 4.30am.

Great hotel in beautiful town with great food!

Would prefer a room with a decent shower rather than a shower over a bath. Also, the room was the first in the corridor from the restaurant/entrance so the corridor was a little busy at times. I would prefer a room further away from the entrance area.

Location, food and staff.

Nothing to report.

Breakfast and location were great.

It smelled a bit moist in the room when arriving. Opening the windows fixed it.

the location was fab

it was not privacy in the room. if you open the curtains everyone could see the inside of the room so we have to keep them at all time closed and with the poor electric light on. Also the room was not swept every day so it was sand and dirt. Breakfast was very very poor, it was not covered and the flies were all over, also very expensive.

hotel was clean and quiet.

the coffee, it was really really bad.

Clean, friendly, restaurant on site, easy to find

Cosy boutique hotel, nicely located in historic village. Excellent restaurant in relaxed atmosphere. Very recommendable accommodation!

Staff were brilliant and food very good too.

The air-conditioning unit caused an irritating vibrating sound above our bedroom ceiling whenever it was on. I suspect this was caused by vibrations of the condenser unit which would be mounted on the wooden rafters of the ceiling. This was a clearly audible humm, which we first thought was somebody using a power drill in a room nearby. The humm lasted about 5 seconds each time and occurred every 30 seconds at first and then gradually reduced to once every few minutes as the room acclimatized. This went on throughout the night, but switching the air con off wasn't an option for us. After the first night, we simply put up with it. In my view, the condenser unit should have been mounted on a cushioning foam layer to absorb the vibrations instead of mounting it straight onto the wooden rafters above the ceiling. Also, our room overlooked the car park at the rear and we were sometimes woken by noisy guests returning very late at night, just standing there chatting at full volume. I know the hotel can't do much about this, but maybe a polite illuminated sign asking guests to be considerate of other guests would help.

lovely comfortable stay , dog was welcome, room was clean and presentable. Thank you

breakfast was good.

The hotel was very noisy. Wrong information has been given by the hotel staff and they were not very friendly. Given the price of the night I was expecting a better service

Very nice hotel in pleasant village. Nice room. Lovely restaurant and great food.

Parking not onsite, but enough spaces around the village streets.

Very nice rooms, and nice breakfast buffet.

Maybe offer two types of pillows (thick and flat); And the staff at breakfast was not the most friendly or smiley (as everywhere else in the Netherlands).
